Excellent price for a brand new release camera.

I know some people are disappointed with the dynamic range capability (or lack thereof) of the new sensor, but on the whole it's still a very good camera.

    I bought the mark1 3 years ago for 1.4K when the dollar was high. If anyone start with DSLR should go for the Nikon D750 which should be cheaper and better this mark 2.

    Me too. I knew the MKII was coming but was going overseas - paid $1,600 at Georges Sydney and got the tax back at the airport. For my purposes the only significant improvement in the MKII is the focus points - but not worth an extra appx $600 to me.
