$2 Men's T-Shirts @ Kmart (Nationwide?)

200

Kmart are selling plain t-shirts for $4.50. V neck or crew neck. However there is a difference in tags. The ones marked "plain v neck" or "plain crew neck scan at $4.50.

The ones which just say "v neck tee" or "crew neck tee" scan $2.

Basically you are paying $2.50 more to have word "plain" on the tag.

Some people are really into labels and are happy to pay extra.

Not me. "OzBargain for life" says my knuckle tattoo, it's the creed I live "buy".

They should be nationwide because it would have just naturally scanned like that :) I'll double check when I get to work this arvo.

  • My local Kmart had T-Shirt for $3 last week.

  • $2 for a t-shirt? And people complain about the rising cost of living! Pssh

A can of spray paint and stencil of the logo can achieve this.

these are great until about the 3rd or 4th wash then its all over. But at that price are handy to keep a few around for those times you want that new shirt feeling or if you are travelling and don't mind leaving behind to free up luggage space for any new purchases.

Found the $4.50 shirts, couldn't find any $2 ones at Broadway (NSW)

    • The $2 ones are mixed in with the $4.50 ones, there is no sign, you have to take it to the scanner to find out.

      • thanks will check again at lunch :)

made by my favourite Bangladeshi swear shop workers

if you wear these tshirts out in hot weather you'll figure out why they are so cheap pretty quickly, almost as bad as their white socks that feel like you're walking through a swamp 10 mins after putting them on

  • couldn't find them either. are those printed or plain?

    • Plain. The $2 ones are mixed in with the $4.50 ones

      • thank you Mr A. I'll give it another try after work.

  • Great shirts for lounging around the house… Bought a few a while at RRP and thought that was a bargain!

Now we know why you love bikies so much 🏍😎

  • I checked the v neck & crew neck tees (without the plain) in Kmart Marion shopping centre, SA, and they scanned $4.5 each. I don't think it's a nationwide sale.

    • I think it's a nationwide sale,
just not all colours ar $2 each.
in my local store most of them (without the plain) ar $2 each,
but white, dark blue and black $4.5 each.

      • WTH! If the white, dark blue, and black are $4.50 each, then what is left? Grey and light blue? Going through all the pile just to find one or two that are your size, and from those select colors, ain't worth all the trouble.

Also, OP suggested that it's all the v neck and crew neck tees that are $2 each. Since it's only about two colors of those particular tees then it would be a good idea if they edit the post.

        • I bought tshirts in 5 different colours today. not including white or black, so at least 7 colour available
          green marl
          light grey
          blue marl
          navy
          army green

I bought 5 different colours today too,
navy(the $4.5 "dark blue" one is much darker then this, close to black)
          dark purp
          dark brown
          light blue/blue marl
          red

u should be able to wear different colours everyday and without repeating for a week.

  • Does it have band 28?
