15% off iTunes Gift Cards at Coles Express (35% off with AmEx Offer)

170

Pity it's the very last day of this offer.
Best denomination obviously the $50, with 15% off its $42.50 and if you have Amex offer saved its further $10 off making it $32.50 for a $50 gift card! Original AmEx offer deal - Targeted

Best deal out I have seen I think, I saw some previously posted hovering at 30% off but don't think I've seen 35% before!

If you have android pay, make sure you use this with the relevant offer saved for double points, and off course don't forget fly-buys points on purchase!

  • Pretty sure the AmEx offer excludes gift cards.

    • Usually have no problems since Amex can't actually tell what you're buying at the store.

    • Official line is Transactions that are not eligible - transactions where you buy a gift card, store credit or a voucher.

This has been discussed in-depth previously, whilst not officially included Amex does not know what is purchased, and therefore cannot monitor whether it's a gift card purchase or not. Have done previously and also purchase Coles Myer $40 gift cards as well as iTunes gift cards and got immediate redemption email from Amex as well as appropriate statement credits.

Thanks for reminding me the Amex offer was expiring, I'll go fuel up tonight!

    • The Amex offer expires on 5 Sep, so don't stress. I believe the operator referred to the iTunes offer.

      • Oops! And thanks for letting me know :)

      • Yes, my bad, was meaning the 15% off iTunes card, there's still a bit of time to fill up petrol for you yet. I'd wait until the lowest cycle to fill up to maximise your savings (depending on which city you are in).

  • Thanks Picked up a $50 card tonight. Wish this had turned up a week ago when i switched to itunes billing.

    • Looking at some past posts there has been quite a few 20% off iTunes Cards at Coles Express. Its a pity this time round it was only 15% off and not 20%, otherwise the discount would have been 40% off, approaching the half-price mark (with the AMEX offer for the $50 card).

  • What the hell is an iTune card and why do to need it?

    • If you ever spend money buying apps, music or in-app purchases for subscriptions periodically (such as Netflix which is the most common one as an example) you can load the Gift Card balance onto your account and it will be deducted before charging your credit card. 35% off any of the above is pretty healthy provided you were going to spend anyway (and even better to double-dip on things that are on special on iTunes). If you don't need any of the above or don't have an apple account or device, its useless to you. Google is your friend and will explain this better than me.
