Only on the 10th October, so there's probably a few hours left of it being the 10th in the USA (?).
The store appears to be timing out at the moment, but I thought I'd still put it up here, and if it is not working, then just remove it.
Otherwise, it's a pretty fun game for free (normally $19.99).

When you download you actually get Bejeweled 2 Deluxe version.
its timing out for me as well. But didn't take long to get to the checkout and download.
Basically you get/download the trial version of the game and a serial number to register it to a full version.

How do you get the Mac version. It automatically added the PC version to the cart and when I download the game it is an .exe file.

is it me or the game is quite buggy…it always freeze..
Probably you; I played for about half an hour on my laptop and it was A-OK.
I installed mine on Windows 7 Premium, freezing constantly, even in win xp sp3 mode, had to go into task manager constantly to regain control of pc, may have to try on old xp laptop later…
yea same i am using windows 7 pro. cant play at all.

PQ:CotW is the best one ever created. PQ: Kingdoms, PQ: Galactrix, and Geomancer are all quite awful, don't bother with those. Not sure about PQ2 as yet.
PQ2 is good too, still addictive as crack, but PQ:CotW still reigns as the best IMO.

hmm… played this for about an hour just now… it regularly gives me just puts up a blackscreen on my monitor whenever i go to a new world..

I like how the game remembers where you are up to. As I quit half way through a game. And was expecting to have to restart from the beginning again.
cant play it, freezes straight away on windows 7 pro 64bit, tried xp mode and admin mode
Edit: go to options and disable hardware acceleration, then it works
The store does work, and it is still free. The store timed out a few times through the process, but given that it is an international freebie, the server is probably being hammered pretty badly. The download is only 17mB and goes pretty quick and the email confirmation comes through almost immediately. (At least it did for me!)
