A quick free game from Microsoft, have checked a few reviews and seems like an average game, but it's free.
Does contain some in game purchases.

      But if you read it the complaint is mainly about the length, or better lack of missions- for the paid version. So for free this is really no valid point.

        I gave it a + because it is a good deal…being free. Doesn't mean its worth pursuing. The reviews are pretty harsh though…far out.

        I'm guessing this is more targeted at Windows 10 touch enabled devices like tablets and hybrids.

    I had the original Flight Unlimited back in the 90's (might even still have it in a box somewhere) … was incredible for its day, especially flying the glider and pushing the wings past their breaking point in a turn, it would creak and groan.

    Well that's 1.6gb and 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Graphics are a joke, any good planes have to be purchased and just a general shite experience. FS 15 years ago was better than this. Not even worth it for free. Nothing to see here. Move on.

    The scenery is so detailed you can even find your house.

    If you live in a blurry blob in the outskirts of Vegas you may see it

      I don't recommend any gaming on a tablet/laptop that doesn't have designated gaming cooling fans etc. Not worth overheating your surface for this game.

    Yes it hasn't moved on much from Flight Unlimited 2 and 3 days sadly but I think you guys are being too harsh. I wouldn't pay $15 or buy any of the additional aircraft, but I wouldn't consider it a waste to download and have a quick play for free.

    God that game looks awful, even the "2018 version" (from 2017), appears to be the same planes and the "HD graphics" are Bing maps overlaid on a flat, featureless ground. Yuck.

      Las Vegas and airport has already been mapped in 3D, on Apple maps anyway. It looks amazing in 3D. They should have just paid for the 3D data or whatever.

    If you guys are dissapointed by this and want something else free to play, try Project Wingman. Click Downloads and then when it asks for payment, click "No thanks, just take me to the downloads"

    It's currently a alpha project and it only has 1 mission, but the graphics are much nicer (Unreal Engine 4).

    They seem to release a new version off Flight Unlimited every year. From a review even the latest Flight Unlimited 2K18 is just as bad. Nothing like the original Flight Unlimited developed and published by Looking Glass Studios in 1995.
