Search Flybuys travel before you place the order. I saw 15x or 20x points on some flight yesterday.

Great deal but seriously dont go to Beijing in Winter…

    • October is not too cold.

Agree to stay away when it's snow.
But autumn and spring when the lakes are frozen is great, adds a lot of atmosphere to the historical attractions like forbidden city and summer palace. Off-peak season too (still mega crowds).

Easier to rug up warm than be in a sweaty crowd press and hot subways and walking. Pollution mask more comfortable when cold.

Due to inability to get time off outside of winter, we went to Beijing in summer some years back. Quite a liberating experience.
To start with its the first time my Qlder hubby and son saw snow: it snowed 3 days after we arrived so very lucky. And tourist numbers dropped in most attractions means less crowded, winter food is so yummy, thinking steamy lamb Hotpot, then go for winter herbal footspa.

      • I am glad you enjoyed Beijing.
