    They will not ship the item. I ordered during their last 5% promotion, the lens was in stock but the order got cancelled because they said they had no stock. Their website showed the item in stock during and after the promotion.

    Don't waste your time.

      I've ordered four things from them over the years, and am yet to experience what you did. Sounds like a lousy experience, but saying that they "will not ship the item" is a bit of a broad statement, and I doubt they'd still be in business if they never shipped anything to anyone.

        That is exactly what they said, the offered to replace the order with something else or a refund. Mind you I have also had several other purchases from them prior to that and hadn't experienced this.

          Yes, if you check forums you will find other people reporting the same.
          It is false advertising if you advertise but can't fulfill it, if the item is out of stock, fair enough and they could say there will be a waiting period before the item is in stock.
          But this was simple refusal so very valid to neg such practice.

    LG V20 - Awesome phone, you're getting a flagship 09/2016 phone for under $400. It's a little on the big side so you'll want to have big hands (not a good phone for the wife and/or girlfriend lol) but I'm loving mine. Second screen is wonderful, battery life pretty solid (and it's replaceable), lots of features and very capable performance. And the wide angle lens, love it.

    It's possible it'll boot loop but that's not guaranteed. I don't regret buying this phone.

    My only suggestion is choosing the right seller (I have no experience with DWI). I got mine from qd_au on ebay who are well known for honouring warranties (including boot loop) outside of the 12 month period. I paid about $60 more than the then-cheapest price available for that peace of mind. Since the nay sayers always like to point out boot looping starts at 13 months ownership. We'll see. I'm not bothered one iota.

      You can get it for A$423 ATM via vaya-shop as they are one of the ones running the "PRESENT" 20% off deal. I entered a trial purchase and it worked. I don't think there are many problems with DWI, but that's another option if people want to spend a little more.

    I wanna pull the trigger on this one, anyone with any previous experience buying from these guys? DWI seems popular enough on OzB.

    The V30 is dropping soon, should I be holding off until then?

      As a V20 owner I'm watching the V30 closely. It's not going to be cheap for the first 6 months though, unless LG start selling in good numbers (they probably won't!) they'll cut the price sharply again somewhere around 6-9 months from release date. If you can wait, the V30 is the phone to get. But if you need a powerful phone now for a bottom price (I don't actually see the V20 dropping too much from this price point) then get the V20.

      Either way you won't be disappointed.

        Thanks for your input! I think I'll pull the trigger on this one. My phone touchscreen stopped working recently (RIP Redmi Note 3, I liked you), so this seems like a nice replacement for only $100 more than what I paid for my old phone.

          Glad I could help. Don't forget to get a good glass screen protector too. I got a case with mine but these phones are rated to take some bruising so if any phone didn't need a case this could be it - I still got a case anyway.

          Dual sim is another handy bonus, 4G + 3G not goofy 2G limited on the 2nd sim. Band 28 etc.

          You won't be disappointed.

    Thanks, actually just found this deal via google anyway - but read a few good reviews on DWI so hopefully ok.
    I bought the V20 with screen protector for an extra $5.. FM transmitter said $0 when I was checking out, so got one anyway. Will be good to help fill up my junk can.

    I can only buy this phone thanks to my high yield investment in an 80k car…
    Would have been a generic pleb with a galaxy S1 if I never bought that car.

        mine ordered 3 days ago and still processing.
        I read whirlpool reviews before I placed the order, mostly good (a few long delays)
        The stock is all from HK (when they say an item is in stock, they dont mean in Australia)

        If no change by Mon/Tues I might flick them an email or try call.

        There was also some big Typhoon in HK a couple of days ago, so hopefully this doesn't affect things too much

        Like wozz said, Hong Kong got pounded by a Typhoon this week, it would have stopped everything (business operations, transport etc.)
