What's the deal with their sizes? Size 30 means waist 40?
i think what they mean is the circumference is 30".. and waist is 40cm 'taken from side to side at the top of the jeans waistband (while jeans are lying flat)'
Size 30 (inches) = 40cm and because 1 inch is 2.54cm, 30 inches is 76.2cm which is 38.1cm for side to side.
So their size 30 is actually slightly bigger because they're 1.9cm wider.
All I can say is the last time I bought Mossimo jeans from these guys with my usual size, they were quite loose (nothing a belt didn't fix). But if I were to buy another pair I would go a size down.
1-day deals had the EXACT same deal a few months back which I jumped on - I have three pairs of authentic Mossimo jeans at home and this one that I received from 1-day deals was NOT authentic … they clearly have a "Made in India" tag on the back which my other authentic ones did not … and the quality of them was not as good…but still for $30 I didn't mind (considering the authentic pair set me back $120+ each)

I used to be a 32 once :/ So the waist measurement is from left to right with the jeans flat.. ugghh shows up as 48.5-49.. the most they got is 48cm lol. The jeans I have now show waist=97/38inch.. but I think I can go one size down.. 36

These jeans ended up being top, top value.
I bought two (one of each style) and they are good quality. I saw them on sale today at Myer for $109.95 (although Myer did have the spend $75 get $25 off deal to be fair… even then it's better than half priced on that discounted price.
