Got an email stating that new members can use a referral code to get $50 credit (applied to the account after 30 days), referrer also gets $50.
For me their policy with limited kms (12,000 annually in my case) was much cheaper than other quotes, but obviously do your own research.

Every time a new member buys car insurance using your code you'll both be eligble for some free insurance. Once their policy has been active for 30 days we'll credit each of you with $50.
We'll automatically apply credit in your account against outstanding monthly payments. If you don't have a monthly policy we'll contact you to arrange a refund against your annual policy.
How much is the insurance though?
No point getting $50 credit if the insurance costs $100 more…
