With Anno 1800 just being announced, I thought it fitting that I post this deal on the latest Anno game, 2205. I believe this price is the cheapest ever for this game, so it might be the right time to buy it for those who have been holding out. Reviews on the game are mixed, but generally positive. Note that this does not include any of the DLCs. If you want those, then buy the "Ultimate Edition" which includes everything - this is on sale at the Ubisoft store for $29.95 AUD at the moment (50% off). However, at 2.5x times the cost of the base game, it's quite pricey.
I loved Anno1404 and 2070… and then bought 2205 thinking I'd replay it over and over like the first. Bzzzzzzzz wrong.
They completely changed the way the game felt, and I love games like this (Pirates, Port Royale, Sim City series, Cities Skylines, Age of Empires etc), but 2205 just didn't do it for me.
For $12 give it a go and see if it hooks you, but I've since uninstalled it and haven't considered installing again since.
Plus vote for the price point though!
