Recommend me a AA/AAA battery charger

Hi all,

Can anyone please recommend me a AA/AAA battery charger. I'm sick of buying single-use batteries for the kids toys.

Of course I'll be buying eneloop or ikea batteries.

I hear the Nitecore charger is good, but which one to get? What about other brands?

Thanks

if you have an ikea nearby then one of their smart chargers. and their Ladda batteries are apparently eneloops in disguise.

I have a LiitoKala lii-500 charger which charges 18650 17500 26650 1634014500 AA AAA Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery. Aliexpress are having a sale in 2 days and it will be AU$15 delivered. I used an AC adapter from an old Optus modem to power it. totally sweet charger.

    • I'll second that. Charges pretty much everything.

As you know the AliExpress sales are bollocks, the sellers all up their prices beforehand. Usually it's cheaper AFTER the sale.

However, in a one-off-never-to-be-repeated-event, it really is on sale: http://www.aliprice.com/?fpsub=1&from=index&keyword=https%3A…

Miracles do happen. (Or in OzBargain parlance there's a couple of dollars to be saved.)

I have the Nitecore D4 and am quite happy with it. Very good value.

I have the Maha Powerex MH-C9000

  • Nitecore D4

  • I have the D4 and Lii-500 I much prefer the Liitokala as it can analyse and charge all 4 bays at 1A, the D4 can only charge 2 bays at 750mAh or 4 at 375mAh.

  • I have the nitecore D4 for a year or two now, really happy with charging AA and AAA batteries. i use it too for 18650 but that's off topic.

  • I have maha mh-c800s, bought them almost 3 years ago, on the first year it does not charge and luckily I bought it local and got the replacement straight away
