Nothing against the product, however the website/seller is useless. Would source it elsewhere if you want this phone. ;)
Extremely slow delivery and poor if any tracking. If there is any issues they do their best to not refund or make it right.

hi mate, apologize for your bad experience. if you have any order problem, please pm me to solve it. if the product lost or damage when it arrive i'm sure i can help to get the refund faster.

        Hi MiniInTheBox,

I appreciate the response, but we are past the point of the company you represent having the ability to solve an order issue.
It is all happy butterflies and unicorn rainbows up until you have the customer's payment. Good luck to anyone who buys from you and has a genuine grievance that requires their money back. The general quality level of customer service when there is fault/problem with the product purchased from your site is abysmal to say the least.

TLDR for OzB crew, do not waste your time with LightInTheBox. Go somewhere more reputable like BangGood or GearBest. ;)

hi mate, i help lots of user solve their order problem and get their refund, the recent one is Jimmy007
and i'm always willing to offer help.

        • Thinking about purchasing this but hesitating because of your comment. Can you please elaborate on the issue you had?

        • @eediot: xiaomi tv box package don't deliver after 2 month and i help Jimmy007 get refund in few hours after he pmed me. more detail you can check with Jimmy007. or GateheaD

we can guarantee all package will arrive, if the package lost on the way or not deliver in 2 months. pm me and get refund. that's simple and fast.

our major problem might shipping time, but same as other oversea company, we offer free shipping but shipping time normally 3-5 weeks, some times up to 2 months. as for the customer service, just pm me and you will get lot better service. i'm online on work day and check OZB's problem.

        • @eediot: Not him but can add my experience. I got my Mi Box from them and it was about 2 weeks delivery, no major issues.
My biggest complaint is how much god damn email spam they send you after signing up.
Even when unticking every email notification box on my account and clicking unsubscribe on each email received I was still getting garbage catalogues sent to me.
I also got regular emails telling me my shipping status which was nice, except they kept being sent to me even after I had already got my Mi Box and set my order to received on my account.
When I logged a ticket about it, they just told me to do what I had already done, and I even put a screenshot in my original ticket showing I had already done it. They fixed it after I repeated myself and attached the screenshot a second time.

        • @enceladus94: hi mate, apologize for this, do you mind send the email you still received to me? my email is [email protected] so i can check it and figure out how to fix it.

        • @MiniInTheBox: It was fixed, I just had to repeat myself after the first responder ignored what I said originally

    • Only measly 3 months warranty on phones too……..

      • +7

Its the same with most overseas suppliers, any stated warranty is just a myth.
We want the item dirt cheap, so we accept the risk.

        • Everbuying must be different i just sent back my homtom phone to china after 11 months.

        • @paulaus:
Sending it back does not mean the matter has been resolved.
They may provide you with the service you expect, I hope so.
The return postage would have been a sting$, especially being registered post.
I have recently ordered a phone from a similar supplier… but I know for the cheap price I should forget any warranty and just hope that it at least shows up LOL.

        • @xywolap:

I sent box phone and charger for $22 with tracking to china. The charge port dont work anymore.

        • @paulaus:
Going by their warranty terms you also have to pay return shipping also.
Hopefully they acknowledge the fault and pay the return post?

        • @xywolap:

lol hope not it was a $100 phone delivered.

        • @paulaus:
When it is sorted let us know how it went? (in the forums). Always handy for others to know if a co. provides good service or screws you around.

  • Good deal, but not support band 28 and NCF

    • NFC, isn't it!

  • I'm with TPG / Vodafone so I gather lack of band 28 won't affect me?

I have this phone and im with voda, no issues so far, Im happy with the phone, good value for money

    • That is correct. Vodafone does not use Band 28. I'd like to also point out that my phone doesn't support Band 28 either, and I'm on the the Telstra network (Telechoice). I'm almost always on a 4G connection, so I don't think lacking Band 28 is a deal breaker.

  • I'm holding out for a 64BG 4X deal or maybe a Lenovo K8 Note deal

  • How does this compare to the xiaomi note 4?

  • Does it come with China rom or global rom?
