  Would this be good for just a small room I.e personal vacuum for cleaning floor, bed debris, small furniture, clothes etc.

  I think a 2 in 1 stick and handheld is ideal but haven't seen many deals for them lately.

  Robot Vacuum for whole house/handheld or cordless stick vacuum for the hard to reach places.

    Yes! The hand-held dysons do a a really good job, just a little constrained in running time because they're battery powered. For a few small rooms it would be fine, for a whole house you might have to recharge it a couple of times.

      I have the animal v6 stick and it can do my house without a hassle.
      Down stair is tiles and quick but the carpet puts it to the test and never fails.

    bloody good for the car - specially with all the attachments, turn on the turbo (MAX) button and whoosh, floor carpets are mint within minutes.

    Indeed, been using mine on the car for almost a year now. Very handy.
    It's a great little vacuum around the apartment too, for the random clean ups (we have a full size Dyson for the full clean).
    Good price!

  Slight off topic — I've got one which I believe it needs a new battery, I see some generics on eBay, just wondering how much ol'mate dyson charge for replacements if anyone else has gone down this path before?

    A more powerful motor and bigger battery for longer run time from memory.

      Thanks. Bought the DC 35 at the same price for the in laws in the morning before this popped up but they do use it for the hard floor so I guess nothing to complain about unless I buy this as well and use the multi floor stick from the DC 35 to double the use time by 1 running after another battery goes flat.
