DJ turntable, but no reason you couldn't use it to listen to records no one else has heard of while stroking your hipster beard.

how do these fare up against the ol 1200/1210's
They're the little brother to the PLX1000 which are more comparable, but even then, i'd personally get 2nd hand 1200s because they're tried and true
Sad thing is most of our current DJ's playing in clubs at the moment don't know how to use anything more than a MacBook with Traktor installed on it
what's tracktor is that better than itunes cos I use that atm
Don't forget having your DJ name on your MacBook is a must!
I prefer the more natural tones of a wax cylindar.
