Harsh you got a neg. Here's a + from me. It's Father's Day and I got the dad joke. So why is the iPhone 6s scared of the iPhone 7? Because the 7 8 9.

So maybe you should apologise for being a turd

  • Great price considering I sold mine in new condition two weeks ago for $630 on Gumtree in two days so it was a very reasonable sale price ..

That person'll be so mad if he/she ever sees this deal… lol

There's no way that person uses ozbargain, we'd kick them out if they did

        • I was looking for one, particular in Space Grey. Only catch was $600 or less, as that's what its actually worth today.

Also looking for a iPhone 6 Plus (64GB) for $400. Could be refurbished or used, just as long it's in good condition.

Still no finds, guess the iPhone will always stay (if even a little) overpriced. Actually I DID find them couple days ago on eBay with 20% discount, however you needed a USA-linked-PayPal account to take advantage of the Labour Day (P20LABORDAY) code. Only problem was that some sellers refused shipping to Australia. And they were in New condition too. If not, I was going to post it on OzBargain for others to take advantage of, alas.

We should see the fair prices I said become widespread towards November when the new iPhone 7S or iPhone 8 comes out.

        • @Kangal: I find Plus holds its value better as Apple always uses the base model (non-plus version) to catch lower-end of the market which makes the second-hand one even cheaper.

iPhone 6 is a perfect example.

        • @Ahan:
Both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were basically the iPhone 5S, no real improvements, just a size difference.
However, the Plus models are better because they're able to last 2-day battery life, compared to the iPhone 5S/SE and iPhone 6/6S only 1-day battery life.

Also the iPhone 6 Plus had OIS advantage over the iPhone 6.
Whilst the iPhone 7 Plus had Dual-Cam advantage over the iPhone 7.

I think you're right, all the iPhone's will lose a lot of value towards the end of the year… but the two "old" models won't, which is the 6S Plus (for being the best with aux port) and the SE (for being the best smallest).

  • will drop soon. 8 more days till next iphone out

    • Yes, I would say another $100-150 drop at least.

  • Doubt it. The new iphones would probably make this more valuable as they're going to cost $1500+

    • Either it drops to budget line or discontinued by Apple retailers will eventually drop the price to clear old stocks for new stocks. If 7S is true likely 6s will be discontinued.

    • ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

When did ozbargainers stop being able to look up what things cost

  • +1

Even though it'll be 2 generation old soon, it's still a nice iPhone to own! Pretty sure it's capable of running ios11 smoothly or simply don't update…

    • +3

Running it now on a 6S. Works perfectly.

  • Mum wants an iPhone she's using an iPhone 5 but wants something bigger, I'm an Android man and have no clue with iPhones, would this be a good price,

    • Seems pretty good to me for the older model. Keep in mind the Plus is a huge jump in size from the 5. Might be worth checking that a non Plus model isn't a better jump as that'll still be larger.

I use a Plus myself but I know some people find them too large.

  • Mums eyes sent the best so I think she may want the +

  • Did anyone buy an iPhone 6s Plus from Shopmonk? If so, how was the experience ie how long did it take to arrive after ordering, was the phone in a factory sealed box, did it come with an AU adapter, etc etc etc…. they still seem to have some stock left in various colours and my daughter would like one…..

    • FWIW Ordered iPhone on weekend, it arrived Thursday lunchtime - so 3.5 business days. Phone itself is perfect - came with o/seas charger and no local adapter, but for the price I can't complain.

      • my bad - there actually was an AU charger - was hidden in the bubble wrap!
