This is no deal, phone is a relic

You could get it at newegg with a forwarder for under $150

Poor value. 4 years old with severely outdated hardware — it was already a generation behind at release. 32-bit means it won't get iOS 11 and might have problems with app updates going forward. Get an iPhone SE (or a 5s at the very least), or go Android.

Agreed. Used to have iPhone 5 (same hardware as 5C). It was running pretty slow 2~3 years ago. Can't imagine how slow it'd be now.

Kogan took them over a few weeks ago after they went downhill

Thanks for the first post OP, perhaps this store is more reputable that the others listed in the comments?

Newegg and an ebay-facilitated seller (eBay is super buyer biased) are less reputable than 'Zazz'?

    A refurbished 5c for $229??
I wonder what makes this such a good deal? Is it the A6 Chip? The Blue colour? The 32gb? The outdated iOS? This is basically the iPhone 5. It wasn't even a great buy at launch when it was new let alone when it is a refurbished 4 year old model

EDIT: Just looked the last 'deal' for the 5C was December 2016 - 7 months ago and people didn't want to buy it then.

Support finishes up this year for it since this one is only 32bit and not supported by the new IOS or newer updated versions of the apps.

This phone was like the bee's knees when I was still in uni. I think I was rocking a Samsung Galaxy SII back then…
