    Not sure with this type-C, but I got 2 micro USB of this design. The metal covers at both ends became loose then came off within a month of using it daily.

    Hi Banggood,

    I usually shop my gadget needs from Banggood and always receive reasonable customer services. This time, I bought M8S Pro Plus tv box from Banggood and contacted customer services for the defective unit I received. Sebastian from Banggood replies as follow:

    First, reply from Banggood,

    "Dear XXX,

    Thanks for your email and sorry for the inconvenience,

    According to the information you provide, we have confirmed the problem you mentioned.

    So,we suggest that you take it to the local store for repair.if you don't mind that and the cost of repair is reasonable,then we'll compensate you for the cost of reparation.

    Besides, if you accept the advice, we hope you can inform us how much the reparation will cost before you start to do.

    Furthermore, please kindly provide us the receipt of the reparation before you request the refund.And your item will not covered by the warranty after this reimbursement.

    Lastly, please kindly tell us what's your choice in the next reply.

    He confirms I received the defective unit but he is offering $10 partial refund because it is operative. I think this is not right.

    Should I go through paypal dispute for this case?

      Why dont you tell him that you dont want the partial refund and that you want to fully return and receive your money back? I would say using only paypal if you aren't satisfied with the final outcome

        As you can see from the emails provided, he offered 2 options. The first is to wait until manufacturer getting back to him or offering a partial refund which is $10. The first is not acceptable as we don't know when the manufacturer is gonna contact him and second partial refund is also not right as it is the defective unit. I will send him a mail anyway let's see how his response.

      THe battery included version has a hook and is slightly more lumens ( something like 4 v 6), and supposedly (somebody said in another post) wider detection range. Personally i like the ab ility to replace the eneloops instantly rather than remove the light for half a day while it charges.

    Any quality cables with right angled connectors. All my cabled wear and tear at the end from is while plugged in (usually in bed) a right angled connector would solve this… a right angled connector at both ends on a short cable would be awesome for powerbank charging as well!
