  • great deal!, cant wait!!!

  • Can you please explain what "Subject to availability" means in the T&C's it is very general ??? Does this restaurant run out food often ???

    • +2

      Hi jv,

Subject to availability is referring to seat/tables. This is a new Buffet they are launching so there is quite a bit of hype - therefore you need to make sure you book :)

      Hope that helps.

      Dave

      • But the voucher is only valid until 2nd Feb 2011, what happened if we cannot use the voucher before that date because of "seats are never available"? Can you guarantee that there is at least one day before 2nd Feb 2011 in which buyer can use the voucher, or provide refund if that is not the case?
Also, why are all these kind of offers always require you to mention the voucher when booking? This must be used for some sort of discrimination!
Surely there two terms create a convenience ground for the company to avoid responsibility:
        - Bookings compulsory on (03) 9663 5688 quoting ‘Crowdmass Voucher’
        - Subject to availability

Hi Leiiv, there will definitely be seats available and if you book early (ie call up this week), - you can probably get a reservation on any preferred date. That term is merely there so people won't be disappointed if they call up for a certain day and it's booked out. As for the bookings - it's just so Chillipadi can manage their food requirements and be prepared for the night. If only 2 people are having the buffet that night, they will cook less - but if 40 people book, then they will prepare more. By quoting you have a Crowdmass voucher - they know you will be getting a banquet/buffet straight away so they can prepare accordingly.

Tell me if there's anything else I can help you with :)

@crowdmass: so i assume you can still use the voucher if you do not tell them over the phone when you book???

    Hi,
If we buy 5 vouchers so it worth $225.
Can we bring 10 people instead of 5?
    Please let me know.

because if 1 person need to have 1 voucher then to eat 6 courses I think it is too much for 1 person. Unless the size of the meal is 10cm in diameter.

    waiting for your reply.

    • It is a banquet so it's designed for a feast of some sorts :)

But what they've told me is that it's quite good for sharing with friends. You can get a lot of dishes in the middle of the table for everyone to try (true Asian style).

As for the 1 person needs to have 1 voucher - that condition still sticks.

      Hope that helps

can always ta pao (takeaway) :P

      • +1

wow…we will have a lot of ta pao.

  • what is the full cost of the banquet? cos the price on the website says $25 which is barely a discount at all

im presuming the full cost of the buffet is $45?

    • Hi CiA,
The buffet is worth $45. The 'normal banquet' is worth $25, but this special Premium Crowdmass one includes duck, fish and softshell crab.

      Cheers,
      Dave

The deal has expired, and I've now marked it as such.
