Got a coupon for Mi Band 2, it's$20.16(US$15.74)after using the former coupon! I thought it's a good price, so share with you guys! But now it has a new one(39mibd8), and the price changed: it's AU$19.46(US$15.24)!!

Some friends commented that the coupon could only be used 1000 times, but some found that the coupon seem to be back. I tried again and it's still working. Maybe this coupon has times restriction too. So enjoy.

This thing is absolute trash. It's only good for being a pedometer and maybe telling the time. If you want it for exercise or to read your heart rate, look elsewhere. It takes a total of about 20-30 seconds to give you an approximate heart rate reading. The first 10 seconds you will spend waiting and finally receive either a random number or no number at all (can't read heart rate), then your 2nd attempt will take another 10 seconds before you finally get a proper reading (50% chance of this failing too). I truly wish this was an exaggeration but it's not. What is the point of a HR sensor that gives you a reading 20 seconds after you requested it?

If I can stop one person from buying this useless crap then I've done my job.

Not sure what you expect from a $20 gizmo - it tells the time (what do you mean by maybe?), it vibrates when I get notifications (which is useful at home when I don't keep my phone in my pocket), and it works reasonably well as a pedometer or sleep tracker. Given you'd pay as much for a simple digital watch, I don't think it's a bad deal.

To give me accurate heart rate readings in a timely manner. I could take out my phone, unlock it, open an app, hold my fingertip to the sensor and have it give me a faster, more accurate reading. It's useless for anyone who wants it for exercise.

    • my One only take 3 - seconds for the heart rate reading

and i would say its a goof product at this price

Not sure why this got downvoted. Paizuri5's experience is exactly the same as mine. The heart rate function simply doesn't work.

On the other hand, you can pick up a bluetooth HRM chest strap which is accurate, continuous and instantaneous for under $20.

That doesn't state that it's Xiaomi anywhere, nor is the word Xiaomi mentioned once. Doesn't look legit.
