      I've been thinking to myself for ages now that House would shut down soon. There are always sale posters plastered all over the front of the store like they're going out of business.

      Last week I walked past my local House store and it said "Closing down sale" and I thought to myself 'called it!'.
      Then I read the smaller text "for renovations".

      One day.. it's coming..

      They should be. Shonky. If they don't want to sell you something on sale they will just lie to you and say it broke and refund your money. No rainchecks, no nothing. Others have had similar issues. Be warned.

    Some of the deals are a bit misleading. e.g. https://www.house.com.au/product/noritake-arctic-white-sugar…
    Says normally $56 down to $19, but on the Noritake website it's RRP is $18.70 + shipping anyway. https://noritake.com.au/product/arctic-white-sugar-bowl/

    I mean sure it's cheaper because of free shipping but the original $56 price tag is inflated.

      Gee, it wouldn't be like House to inflate RRPs.
      Most of the stuff they sell is their own brand (Baccarat) so they just set their own bulshit rrp and "massively" reduce it for their constant sales.

    I just put in an order through PayPal and it was a bit dodgy SO check your postal address really carefully as it may double things up. First time it placed my postal address twice so I redid everything and it looked fine so I went to checkout and then it placed my house number twice. I had to contact House LIVE chat to sort the problem out. Was very odd as I haven't seen that happen before when paying through PayPal. If my order doesn't arrive I know it'll be them who stuffed it up so I'll complain.
