no deal. much cheaper to pay attention and take your own notes.

    • Yes and No. Asian traditional way is by doing more exercises, pass papers and trial tests. Purely paying attention is only 1/2 way there. A year 12 Unit 3/4 maths questions may have different ways of solving. A large number of JRH and BHH students attend coaching schools for the same reason. Finding the best way at the shortest time to solve the question is the key. Experience comes from more practice and doing a variety of questions. For what I have said, it is a bargain.

How does it compare between VCE and NSW HSC? I only know about NSW HSC.

I'll admit I'm long out of touch with VCE but find it hard to believe that paying for notes is the only way to do well in a Further Maths exam.

      • I went through 4 unit maths just paying attention. No extra notes.

        • Congratulations. You have officially classified as top elite 1% smarty pants in Unit 3/4 maths with VCE exam score of 99.7%. This is the score which JRH and BHH students are aiming. Getting a pass mark is easy.
