gee that $999 fly more combo deal was fantastic, probably the best deal I've ever had on here.
I hesitated with an impulse thought. Biggest regret to date.
It was HK stock though, warranty is a pain to deal with
Warranty claims are bad all around from what I've heard unless it's a local shop you can drive to, like JB Hi-Fi etc. I already have a drone (Phantom 4) which added to my hesitation. Kept telling myself that I don't need another drone hahah
@simmy: my DJI mavic was bought from an aus seller through eBay, I had to send it for warranty and all I had to provide to DJI was the receipt and they emailed me a pre paid aus post label. Easy as!
I would never buy one of these without local warranty, they are very delicate and too many things to go wrong. Just my 2c.
Yeah I was in the same boat but I thought to myself it was a wicked deal and would sell out real fast haha always wanted a drone so super stoked btw its such a fun thing to play around with loving it!
Very first pic on Perth CBD (super amateur drone/photographer) haha so didn't know exactly what I was doing with settings and pretty sure screwed some of em up.
Great shot! It has a lot of settings apparently so you'll get used to it along the way haha. How long did delivery take? and have you had any issues since?
@koalafied: Thanks! delivery wasn't that bad about 3 weeks and I've had 0 issues so far, I bought the extra warranty from DJI which was a good way to check if the drone was second hand, it wouldn't allow you if you've flown the drone for 48(?) hours I think it is.
