Logitech Pure-Fi Dream ($149) JB Hi-Fi iPod/iPhone Speaker Dock with Clock Radio

60

I saw this at JB last night considering picking one up, but I'm actually in the market for a LOGITECH PURE-FI ANYWHERE 2 or s715i, but this seems like way better value for money, $149 is the cheapest I've ever seen it.

can you pay by paypal and pickup instore?

  • Anyone know what the DC power requirement is? I'm assuming it has a AC/DC external supply. I would like to use in a caravan from the 12v batt. Cheers

    • This has an external transformer. It only has a power cord, doesn't take batteries BTW. It think it may be 12 or 24 V.

    • Says the transformer output is 6.5Vx2

People in Perth, I saw JB-HiFi in Midland offering this same unit for $99, big promotion banner on the outside of their windows at the doorway, this was on Monday. Worth checking into before purchasing online. Thanks!

    • would other JBs price match this?

thought i let you know i picked up the anywhere 2 for $141 at good guys (non advertised) today

    • thanks did you need to haggle with them?

      • yes haggling was involved.
if you go online there are a few online stores that sell it aroudnt he $140-160 mark - just tell them that - or tell them the dick smith price - and see how you go

they are all individual store owners so it will vary.

I have one of these. I looked for over a year at different models and this one by far had the bas sound of any of these semi-potable / micro iPod docks. The motion sensor feature which lights up the controls is nice too. I think I paid $200 for mine, so jealeous of this price. Just my view - I'm in no way connected with JB or Logitech!
