Im having issues getting the phone line cable connected to my modem.
The phone cable that comes into my house is a black cable that has blue,red,white and black wires inside it.
But the connector that im trying to wire up with has different coloured wires (green, yellow, red and black).
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to pair the wires and in what order.

simple. First connect the red and yellow one together. Then connect the green and black together. Then connect green to yellow and the black and white one.
If you do it correctly, you should get purple i think.
No offense, but you sound like you might not know what you're doing, so I'd recommend getting an electrician or a knowledgeable friend. It's actually illegal for a non-licensed electrician to touch phone lines because they can produce dangerous electrical currents.
Agree except, he needs a Data/Phone technician only(cheaper than a sparky too), and……a few tingles perhaps, unless a call come in at same time and or it is faulty elsewhere to have mains touching, otherwise it is only Low Voltage DC.
Call an electrician before you hurt yourself

The white and blue wires on the cable connect to the red and green wires on the connector.
As above call a cabler, but assuming you're smart enough to know that's what you're supposed to do, and you're not willing to pay someone, it doesn't matter what colours the cables are.
Just make sure that the continuous wires are wired the same way in the new connector as they are currently.
