Radio Rentals SA currently have 22% off TV's. Looks to be some fairly decent pricing. Appears to be free delivery in SA however no postage interstate.

      Sure.
      A pixel has 3 colours in it. Normal pixels are made up of Red, Green, Blue (RGB). LG use Red, Green, Blue, White (RGBW)
      This doesn't add an extra colour into the pixel but actually removes one for the white.

      instead of rgb-rgb-rgb-rgb-rgb
      you get rgb-wrg-bwr-gbw-rgb

      So not all pixels display all colours, you effectively get less than 4k real pixels.
      The screen is brighter due to the white though.

        But why?
        My understanding is that RGB=W so are you telling me there is 3 smaller RGB leds in the W led?
        Here is a informative video…
        This leads me in thinking this is a 3k tv rather than a 4k tv…
