I'd say small/medium will be normal price. Golden meal doesn't really take into consideration it's size in relation to others.

Medium and large meals will still be the same price. I think the best bang for buck for monopoly pieces is a large hamburger meal, which is $6.50 at my local.
I think large soda water is still best. And healthy
And if you are a student or member of student edge, you can get large fries + medium drink for $3.10 - 3 monopoly pieces :)

@everyone: That's because the SE deal is different for VIC (medium soft drink, juice or small coffee) compared to the other states (only medium soft drink or juice). No free coffee for us here in NSW :(

I was surprised the other day to find my large 10 piece nugget meal came with monopoly token on the nugget box as well as chips and drink, not sure if it would be the same for 6 nuggets, or the 24 nugget box.

I think the price varies between regions. I am in QLD and it shows up as $3.25.

Buy $1 hamburgers, add you're own slice cheese, microwave. Done.

It's worked once, and ever since it just doesn't load up at all.
It seems to be designed to fail more than 50% of the time. It's a 'new-age' modern/hard to prosecute form of 'bait and switch'.

Just tried to use it. Check in error. Tried again, same. Ordered something else with it, went through but I didn't get the golden meal contents and I didn't get charged for it either. Obviously not all stores are participating.
I could never get this app to work in the past (android) so uninstalled it. I just updated my phone to a new system and have reinstalled this app and it is working but can't find the 'golden menu items' can anyone offer any insight?
I found mine when I went to the cheeseburger, it was an option to the right of all the normal meal size options.
My app has been a little dodgy though. First open, only some menu items loaded.

It has come up with some rewards down the bottom a coffee one and a 25% off my next order.

Can confirm the android app is a piece of shit. Took my daughter to maccas after school I added 2 cheese burger golden meals to cart then had to put in my cc details because there was no option for cash tapped on place order then just kept getting error messages. Took my phone into the store and spoke to the manager and she told me it works for her on her iPhone so she grabbed her phone but couldn't get it to work either.
haha would love to have seen the look on her face! did she give you the meals for the same price as the app? i tried to order thru the app the other night, wouldn't list all the menu items, explained it to the checkout then manager who refused to match the price of the app for the meal, gggrrrrr!
No didn't match the price ended up going through the drive through and ordered 2 hamburgers, a frozen coke and 2 x soft serve cones from memory.
i've sent off a complaint thru their website, suggest you do too as its not our fault the app won't work properly, they should be matching the app price for items/meals.
I'm amazed at how terrible the McDonalds App is. The KFC app is better in every aspect and actually let's you use it before you get there and place an order through drive thru with no hassles. Plus actually has useable discounts. The Maccas app on the other hand can't even load the menu properly.
This would be awesome if I could ever get the app to load!
