  • Thanks for sharing, my last pair of florsheims that I bought on Boxing Day, 2002 are still quite good.

    • I was thinking the same thing… except I have no idea how old they are, 2002 would be about right though.
Time to downgrade the old pair to daily shoes and upgrade to a new pair.

  • I've got 2 pairs from 2002 that I'm still using almost daily… Not sure how many times i've replaced the worn sole and heel… but the leather is as good as new…

  • +1

    15 bux shipping.

    • for up to 2 pairs

  • My husband also goes through shoes at a fast rate - other brands last 8 weeks max, but his Florsheims last for a year or longer. Try and get the ones with kangaroo hides if you can - supposedly 50% stronger leather than cow hide. They were at the outlet in South Melbourne, not sure if they are available online.

    • I am not sure what sort of shoes your husband buys but I would recommend looking into "Good Year" welted shoes. These shoes have the sole stitched to the upper by machine so are extremely durable.

Checkout Church's from England, they cost a fair bit but with the Australian dollar ATM it's not too bad and they are worth every penny. Also one should have as minimum 3 pairs of shoes in rotation, leather shoes need rest after a day's wear.

      • Churches are bit of a steep climb for those interested in Florsheims… How about start with some Loake 1880's or another step down with Herring's own branded ones much more affordable.

Still 50% off Florsheims make decent deal on their shoes in Australia anyway. Too bad they don't seem to stock any oxfords :S

        • Yeah, I would have a pair of oxfords from their Royal Imperial range if they were any!

  • Gah budget too tight for two! [for shipping]

    If only…

EDIT: Anyone know how to get to accessories page? Can't seem to find it (want to get a couple of shoelaces while I'm at it).

  • cheers! great bargain!

  • how come i enter the promotion code and click on apply promotion the price still the same? anyone help?

    • Because it's not Fri 22nd yet, not here anyway.

  • If there's a Florsheim store nearby you might want to check the current prices there first.

  • holy crap how am i gonna know if the size fits -__-

the size chart is meant for which country?

    eg. http://www.florsheim.com.au/florsheim/renegade/w2/i1045027_1…

If you want to measure your own european shoe size, grab a ruler and measure vertically from toe to heel your foot size in cm, and multiply by 1.5 :)

      E.g. A 28cm foot x 1.5 = EU sz 43-44 (add a size for room to grow)

sounds like a good bargain, shame the designs are fugly!

  • nice. noticed they had 25% off in-store, but this is better.

  • I wear Florsheim Comfortech shoes. Very comfortable. Half price is a great deal!

  • Nice bargain.

  • Great post.

    Many thanks

  • Thanks OP.

Got me 2 pairs of work shoes - Pinnacle and Quasar.

  • design not so trendy.
let see if the store able to match it :)

    • went in store (Sydney CBD - MET centre) they wouldn't match it unless I could produce some sort of voucher.

  • OP, is there some sort of voucher/printout/PDF you can provide from orig email?

    • I'm not sure how to convert it into PDF, but I am happy to forward it to you.

  • I'm gonna print out the mail and take it to the store at Myre Ctr Brisbane in a couple of hrs and try to see if they will do the discount. Or I just try them on in shop and go back to work and order there…

    • Please let us know how you go.

      • No-go in the shop - the girl had a print out from Head Office that clearly stated that the discount was not to be used in store.

Of course I only produced the e-mail after I had tried about 3 pairs of shoes!

I just bought the Brynner online for 130 bucks - that is a bargain (maybe I should have bought 2 pairs…?)

        • +1

At least you know the right size!

Brynner were my wedding shoes, I paid $299!!

        • Agree, best choice, voted with my feet (bought a pair, LOL).

        • I've worn Brynner for approx 12 months (bought for approx $180 from DJ) and had to get a new pair after the leather sole began to worn out. By that I mean that my constant walking had led to my big toe slowly shaving off the base to the extent that only 1mm of leather now separates my toe and the floor. Having said that I still think that Florsheim has the best shoe in the market in this price range sector. My replacement shoe is a Title which I bought for $118 from George St shop. Very happy with this model and the shine is far greater than Brynner. From experience, I find that Brynner's shine significantly deteriorates over time.

Planning to take up this offer at the E-store but can't decide on which model to buy. Anyone has opinion based on experience? Thanks.

  • considering getting two, Pulsar and a Balmoral

anyone know much about kangaroo leather pros and cons? If good maybe I'll get the Degree

  • Thanks OP - awesome deal! Just grabbed two pairs.

I love Florsheim. As someone else mentioned, they last a year or two compared to 8 weeks.

One of my two purchases is from the "Stacy Adams" range, I hope they're the same quality.

    • Yeah, they're all made in the same factory in Chennai, been there, didn't think to buy then. I vaguely remember they're all handstitched, thats why they last and last.

  • Thank you OP.

  • I have a pair of Florsheim's from their IMPERIAL range. They look great but I wouldn't rate them that highly for comfort. I don't find the cushioning that soft on the base. However, that didn't stop me from buying another 3 pairs - thanks OP :) Delivery was $30 to the Sydney CBD.

    • Delivery should be only 15$ for a pair. I would contact them if they charged you 30 for a pair.

  • Thanks for the deal, bought shoes for my wedding :)

  • Went to floresheim castle hills to try out some models but they did not have popular sizes like 8 1/2 aka 9us of any of the models suggested here. I managed to try the kangaroo meat ones in DJ as myer there had only a handful….long story short I got comfortech king for a wedding coming up and college for work . $209 deliver to syd. Thanks to poster….

  • Thanks for the deal OP, I just bought Grisham and Accord. Haven't bought a pair of Florsheims for a while so it'll be interesting to see what the quality's like.

  • Can try your luck with the coupon still. Forgot to remind a friend to check out the shoes so we could buy a pair each, and only remembered at about 1am today. The coupon still went through, so here's hoping they'll honour it till they get to the office in the morning.

  • I got my pair today, I ordered Quasar. But inside the shoes twas labeled as STACY ADAM (the original since 1875, Made in China) and NOT FLORSHEIM(established 1892). This is the first time I knew about Stacy Adam. The box is also labeled as STACY ADAM. Are these the same? This is my first pair of Florsheim but it seems like im ending up owning my first pair of Stacy Adam. It aint even comfy enough. Can i return these pair? Any comments please.

    • tried returning my pair to florshiem castle hill and they said i can only return to the estore. i told them the website said i can return to any store and they said the estore has wrong info. anyone have any luck returning these?

      • Quote for Florsheim website:
Providing excellent customer service is important to Florsheim. Our aim is to provide you with an easy, enjoyable & convenient shopping experience.

        And:
You are more than welcome to return your E-Store purchase to any Florsheim store

If they mean what they say they will accept returns in-store. Otherwise they are being completely misleading and dishonest.

I would tell them you will report them to NSW Fair Trading.

      • I did an exchange at one of the city stores, was very quick and easy, he didn't have my size for one of my shoes so he'll give me a call when he gets it in!

        • which city store? ill give that one a visit. i just want an exchange to smaller site as i rushed my order and didnt look at the sizing chart.

        • finally got mine exchanged at bondi. i guess the castle hill store person didnt know what he was talking about

    • The Quasar are sold under the STACY ADAMS label. They are still Florsheim.
You can return them, but what would your case be?

      1. You didn't go into the store to try them on.
      2. You didn't read the website properly.
      3. They are still great shoes.
    • I did find the website menus were a little confusing/misleading on what is Stacy Adams vs Florshiem.

I got a pair of each and the quality is the same, I think maybe SA is just the more fashion oriented label or something.

However the sizing does seem inconsistent and I will have to exchange the SA :/

Other than that, really really happy - thanks OP.

  • Received my pair today. I got the Otavio and the photos on the site do not do it any justice at all, I saw it at the shop first before I made the order.

I Gotta say, the quality on the Imperial line is top notch. I have never spent so much on dress shoes before but damn its nice and surely beats my POS Julius Marlows. I'm regretting I didn't buy another pair. Hopefully next time a deal like this comes up i'll snatch a pair of Lawrence's for formal occassions.

I had a browse in Myer to see some of the range and there is a significant quality difference in the Florsheim imperial range to the others. But thanks OP for the great deal! I am now a Florsheim Imperials convert.

  • Glad so many of you got new shoes… My husband loves his Florsheims, says they are better than any other shoes he has ever had.

I signed up for newsletters on their website and got emailed this deal, incase others of you also wanted to find out early about specials they have. Also their factory outlet (in S. Melbourne at least) has good shoes for around $100 - $120, the lines that are going out of style, and they have a very good range (including a lot of ladies shoes there)
