This might be useful for anyone looking to join Melbourne City Baths, North Melbourne Leisure Centre, Carlton Baths or Kensington Recreation centre this month.

If you sign up at either the Carlton or Kensington locations before 27/9, then you don't have to pay the $69 joining fee.

There is up to full reciprocal access to all 4 centres (level of access depends on membership option chosen) so you could signup at either Carlton or Kensington, even if you only intend to use Melbourne City or North Melbourne (who aren't running this same deal), and there are no minimum contract length conditions.

    this is possibly all ymca's throughout melb - the boroondara sites are also included on a similar promotion (hawthorn/ashburton/kew etc)

      Seems to be - good time to join too, with the outdoor pool opening for summer next month at Carlton.

        the prices are much more competitive for the locations you mentioned - the stonnington/boroondara sites are ridiculous ~$28wk - 45% more than inner northern suburbs
