    I suggest you don't use the additional aussie adapter they provide (the one that come with iphone is not australia adatper)

    I've tried using the one they provided, it looks dodgy to me, i can feel it becomes very hot as soon as i start to charge, it also charges very slow (4% per hour) and when i touch my phone i get Electric shock.

    Update iPhone 8 64GB Gold was shipped about 7pm yesterday. Shipping begins in Singapore and they say takes 3-5 business days. Hopefully that means another batch will be ticked off soon for those waiting.

    • Received yesterday. Got notification Monday night, received on Wednesday quite impressive. I am in Sydney though. Everything was as expected shrink wrapped, etc. I wouldn't use that additional adapter they send though… looks cheap. If you have another adaptor from a previous iPhone I would just use that with the new cable in the box. Hope everyone gets theirs soon!

          I'm not sure sorry somebody else signed for it but it was in DHL packaging.

  • I phone 8 64gb rose gold arrived this morning.

    It looks like the package may have been removed from its original plastic seal and re wrapped in another plastic film, as it is not sealed just wrapped.

    Everything looks good however, I have activated the warranty on apples website.

  • FWIW - Got my iPhone 8+ 64gb a bit over 3 wks after ordering (ordered on 20/09).

    I emailed them twice about getting AU stock, gone one reply stating they couldn't confirm a model number until stock is on hand.

    But they came through in the end and delivered me an local model (A1864) as I'd requested.

    No valid and genuine response from shopmonk.. looks like no one will get their order. I have raised a PayPal dispute an emailed them requesting to refund the money ASAP. This was the response I received but no refund yet..

    Just got shipping confirmation that it has been sent, I can see it's on it way from Singapore. I ordered the Space Gray 64GB iPhone 8 on the 19th. They wont meet their 31st delivery date but at least it's been sent.

    I ordered on 20/9 and today have finally received the your order is being shipped email. So just 40+ days with my money and there is no way it’s going to arrive by their quoted will be delivered by date of 31/10. It’s a shame they couldn’t even send a email with an honest update re delay and a sorry for the inconvenience message. :(

    I just noticed on the Shopmonk website that depending on the colour and capacity of the iPhone 8 you’re getting, you could either be receiving the A1863 or A1905. This is not what the rep on here promised? He said we’ll be getting the A1863 which is the same as Australian specs (for warranty purposes). This is getting dodgy.

    Did you guys receive only the A1863 iPhone 8?

    Escalated PayPal dispute after no response to email's and phone calls. guess what.. refund got processed in 5 minutes after PayPal escalation.

    I bought an iPhone 8 256gb (Space Grey) on 26th Sept, been refreshing my email and Shopmonk Account page everyday since then :X No notifications and it's the final day of the promised delivery date, so I sent an email to them 16 minutes ago asking for updates. They replied my email 7 minutes after, and here's what they said:

    Hi Teresa,

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you as there has been an inadvertent delay in servicing the order which happens to be beyond our control. We are trying our best to deliver the product to you by next Monday.

    Lodged paypal dispute a week ago still nothing, Worst company ive ever dealt with!

      Yes you can. My wife dropped her screen after having hers for a week. Purchased the Apple care and got two fixed a day later with no issues.

    Just received my 8 64gb space grey (A1863) today. Sent email to Shopmonk and raised paypal dispute on 29/17 (as I am heading overseas soon), received reply on 30/17 saying that they would ship the phone out that same day. So overall 2 days late which I think is acceptable but the issue was the poor communication - i.e. not letting us know that it would be delayed.

    • everyone got an email like that but as long as there is no tracking info, don't get your hopes up. They have been saying "By monday, By Next week, In the next 5 days" 3 weeks now
