  By comparison Xiaomi Mi A1 with bigger 4GB/64GB mem/storage, SIM+SIM/SD and with better camera, Android One and otherwise identical specs (minus B28 and local warranty) is ~AU$271 at tomtop/presell. Still giving this deal a thumbs up for Aussie stock.

    The comparison you linked to is actually for the new Moto G5S Plus, which is part of the reason for the fall in Moto G5 Plus phones.

    The Moto G5 Plus is my preferred phone because:

    • Dual SIM plus separate MicroSD card slot
    • NFC
    • B28

    If the Xiaomi Mi A1 had these features, then Android One would make it my choice.

    These shouldn't be refurbs, considering they're also stock meant for distribution for brick and mortar stores.

    ? I haven't heard of any touch screen issues on the G5 Plus. Both the ones we have a great (I know this doesn't mean there aren't any with problems)

    Throw in a Nokia 5 for $209 also with dual sim 4G/3G + micro sd expansion, slightly lower performance and screen definition, but stock OS with promised update to O and solid build, now the choice is even harder.

        Yeah, can happen. Great deal for local stock, best price ever for this model. Chose the Moto G5+ after many hours researching and waiting for best deals, and very happy with it.

  Great price. I was about to post this as I managed to get a refund on mine and got this instead. OW have also dropped the store price to $299 (still listed at $328 but in store scans at $299) but it has now gone from their ebay store. I'm happy getting it $60ish cheaper than I had paid!

  Officeworks ebay store now has the G5 Plus in both Grey and Gold for $299. Seems they updated the price 40 minutes or so ago.
