  • awesome price, bought one

  • These speakers are so impressive. Housemate got one and I was blown away with the sound they put out.

Just so everyone knows, whilst this is a good price (thanks to OP) the actual product is abysmal at this price point. Any Bose Bluetooth Speaker or the Anker Bluetooth Speakers are far superior to these. Major key note: if you want bass, stay the HELL away from these.

      But…but… Its waterproof bro…

  • Says no more stock.

OK so I bought one but then I watched some reviews of this vs the JBL Flip 4 and the JBL seems to be better and cheaper. Did I make the wrong choice?

    • You could always resell the UE Boom 2 if you change your mind (you'll easily make your money back).

The JBL Flip 3 & 4 are far superior to this.

      • own both a boom 2 and flip 4. No, they're not.

Audio is very subjective, but for what these are (i.e not audiophile as BT loses a lot of data) they UE boom 2 is louder, clearer at that volume, punchier, longer battery life, and Omni directional. My flip 4 is 'sharper' (to my ear, YMMV) but closer in loudness to the Wonderboom, which sits a level below the boom 2.

However, if you're happy with the flip 4, it's a great choice, but I'd always say listen to both live, and preferably next to each other to hear which one you prefer.

They both are decent, JBL does have better sound as its traditional front firing speakers but the UE boom 2 has 360 degrees sound and remote on functions.

      UE Boom 360 degress test

The JBL does have buttons to skip tracks which is much better than the UE boom 2 tap to skip method.

You cant really go wrong with either of them

Love the remote on function. But absolutely hate the tap to skip method.
