    $1259 from Ozsikh's post with PHONE15 offer
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/329591

though CB rate is higher with catch than with eBay. With catch, that's $1256.77 and ebay is $1243.26

Edit: Catch is selling for "Wholesale Digital Partner" so this order is fulfilled by Catch but the originating retailer is some other unknown. Basically it'll be a grey import. Mobilecity is local stock.

    • Isn't this one Dual Sim while the Mobi one is Single Sim.

      • +1

2Yrs warranty vs 1 Yr warranty.. Clearly local stock wins this one.!!!

  • what's the difference between the phone in this deal and the phone in this deal for $998.74?

    • Item location Houston, Texas, United States nvm it appears catch is also importing from some unknown O'seas company.

    Internal Memory: 64GB

    thanks but no chance

Add a micro card if you need storage.
Personally I prefer to stream everything.
Micro SD card are quiet affordable.

      • +1

Micro is only good for media, not apps and such. Plus I prefer the dual sim variant and often the 2nd slot is shared between SIM or SDcard. So only solution there is the higher internal memory storage.

        • You can use second slot for both Sim and micro SD card. Granted you have to modify and stick the Sim to the micro SD. Using 2 Sims and micro SD card right now on s8.

        • @iresh-s: Do you have a photo of it?

    • +1

I am in the same position, why pay a shit tonne for 64gb internal storage.

  • I think it would be far smarter buying using the AMEX $150 return deal. I mean local warranty, screen assure etc. If you ordered earlier you would have got a free wireless charger too for $1350.

  • +1

This deal is for people who are after dual SIM

  • +2

I'd be hesitant buying a grey import after what happened with the previous gen Note 7.

    • +5

I suspect this will be one of the best tested smart phones ever made.

      • Yeah this phone battery has heavy r&d, which you can actually watch on youtube. Unfortunately, the battery is tiny!!! 3300mah…so battery life is crap

        • +1

Battery isn't tiny haha. And also I'm getting battery life almost as good as S8+ which has the best battery life of current flagships. So your battery life is crap comment is false.

          FYI:
Pixel XL 3500mah battery got me 2.5-3.5hrs SOT.
Note 8 3300mah battery got me 4.5-6hrs SOT.

Most battery comparisons peg the Note 8 to be one of the best anyway, so unless you are looking at an S8+ for it's battery life only…..

Most people would get the Note 8 because, well,….it's a NOTE lol which no other phone has.

        • @OnlinePred: Fair enough - just basing my battery is crap opinion on reviews :) I stand corrected

        • @zomg: Yep, a lot has to do with software and screen technology improvements - the Note 8 has a much newer panel than the S8/S8+. As an example, most Nexus/Pixel devices have worse battery life than samsung devices with the same size battery.

        • aye, the numbers say it shouldn't last long, but I'm comparing it to my Note 3. Lasts a lot longer, I think partly 'cos the software sleeps stuff that is not being used. Even when running high drain apps that would've flattened my Note 3 in around an hour, after nearly two hours, I'm still at 68% (vs 4%).

          Gotta do more tests

  • Hopefully they list this in their eBay store.
    Got my 15% code ready.

  • This is poo, grey import pre-order deal was $1200.

  • way cheaper with the pre-order sales, even on Aus models from Mobileciti..
