      yes indeed

was surprised to see my futu order come in a shopping express box. did some reading and seems like that topic was done to death a couple of years earlier. damn i'm slow…

I believe they are associated - have bought from them a number of times in the past and their service/shipping is beyond the shopping express standard in my opinion

  • Get a Vesa mount, check your monitor if its compatible, enjoy dual monitor set up

    • It’s not that simple. I have 2x27” Dells and a dual monitor mount I bought couldn’t properly mount them at any angle other than straight =(

      • thats why you check your mount specification 1st or just buy 2 mounts

        • Mount claimed could be used for up to 30” monitors. Absolute rubbish.

@kipps: wow damn man, you got bamboozled

        • @kipps:

Damn what did you end up with?

There’s so many options when it comes to mounts !

        • @SevenSmurfs: I have yet to work it out sorry. I think I need to look at the real expensive ones to get what I want.

I have a couple of U2713HM, a few years old now.
They seem to be reliable monitors (if you get a good one).
I had a red stripe on the 1st, dead pixel on the 2nd and bright pixel on the 3rd.
Dell were good and replaced them without question

    • Jeez, 3 had issues?! Great they replace them though, I would wonder why these in particular seem to bugger up…
I've never had any monitor issues from the last 6 monitors I've used daily for the past 5 or 6 years and I've only ever bought cheap(ish) LG, Acer & Samsung monitors.. maybe just luck I suppose

Yes but fair to say that they are an older model, all failures were either out of the box or in the first week. I bought from Dell direct, called their help line and sent some photos, I think i had replacements within a couple of business days

Dell support is excellent. I got a U2515H from the Outlet which only comes with 12 months warranty. A week before my warranty was up, I had a power outage which killed the monitor. I called them up for a replacement and was expecting to receive a refurb but not only did they send a brand new unit, it was an all new model! They sent U2518D which has HDMI 2.0, thinner lower bezel, slightly wider gamut, removal of touch sensitive buttons for physical buttons, and it has a simulated (fake) HDR mode.

I was very happy with this. The power button on my U2515H was unresponsive a lot of the time.

Would buy from them again any time. I'm waiting for UHD with HDR and HDMI 2.0. OLED would be a bonus.

      • I should also add that I called about the problem on a Monday afternoon, and the replacement monitor arrived the next day… so quick.

  • I thought it said it came from NZ when i check them 2 days ago.
Are these covered by Dell Australia warranty?

Dell ebay store is $551.20 for anyone wanting to do direct.

You could have got the new U2717D for $545 or this for as low as $523 during last nights sale.

Bought it from the Dell Outlet for $400. I wouldn't buy it at this price.

was that new or refurbished ?

      • Would have been refurb

Was "As new". It's pretty much new, can't see any difference.
