have better service for sure , Gearbest take forever the order to arrive plus customer service its really not good
still waiting for my Xiaomi band which I have ordered it mid of July :(

    • +7

You could supplement the price difference by paying for a higher shipping option :)

      • 2% saving over BG. I'd prefer to spend the little extra, customer service from Gearbest is disgraceful.

    Do I need this? No.
    Will I buy it? Probably.

  • AU $31.39 using PayPal exchange
AU $30.19 using zero fee c/card

    • Thanks, have updated. It’s also $30.23 using AUD on their website so seems much better than using conversion without no-fee card.

    • AU$30.69 with priority shipping (+US$1.03) just now.

Would be around $29.38 without the shipping on a 0 rate MasterCard.

  • This Xiaomi brand has become like Smart Buy or Woolworths Essentials. They make everything except cars.

    Questions though:

    • How strong is the magnet? Will tips come loose?
    • Is the handle metallic? I prefer plastic and thicker for better grip.
    • Magnets look sticky enuff

    • Xiaomi are taking over.

They're like an interface for global audiences to access medium-range quality Chinese goods.

      • Cyberdyne then?

        • Chinerdyne.

I wonder if it will get even cheaper. On mi.com (China mainland) it's for 99CNY which is roughly 15 USD (~19 AUD). Obviously, that's only for Chinese customers but it would indicate there's still some room to lower the price.

    • +1

There's room for it to be a few dollars cheaper, but probably not by much more unless Xiaomi themselves put the product on sale — international shipping to Australia is a significant part of the cost (even shipping this with a tracked method within Australia would typically cost $5-7). This is also in line with the profit margin most Chinese sites have for Xiaomi products.

      • China Post/HK Post is much much cheaper than Auspost.

    • Make some Chinese friends and once they go back to China, ask them to bring one back for you.

    • +2

Oh true, it says a different price in title. I will get onto Sunny to get a cheaper price if possible.

Price dropped by 50c to beat Banggood :)

  • Literally just ordered this for $32.99 yesterday, nooo

Why would you buy this? Aren't you worried the Chinese spyware will infect all the devices you use this with?

    • +2

I'm less worried because only the Torx and slotted bits phone home. The other pieces aren't enabled for band 28.

    • But its ok silly.

Don't worry. Someone else like Frederick from MI5 or Graham from CIA are ready to attack chinese spyware with their own previously installed spyware. Protect.

Thanks for the advice, nearly screwed my PC .

    • +2

Too late to worry about that now. Ever bought made in China underwear?

    • Obviously you re-install the OS before using them

  • The set looks good, but do not expect wiha quality, actually similar quality to other Chinese brands.

Link is originally in Chinese; your browser is probably auto-translating.

    • Translated (badly) by Google.

      First to say the conclusion
      1. work to reach the accuracy of the original German Wiha original
      2. and the South flag between the top of the batch placed from left to right followed by the South flag, millet, Wiha original
selection is in my mind Manufacturing more difficult models
first T8H (that is, T8 with holes), I feel the difference is not big, but the South flag hole is too big, and should not affect the use of no screws no way to test the next five-star 0.8 mm, that is, P2, iPhone, I set this small millet with a small, twisted screw is able to twist but the screw and bite over the tolerance, I may be the model is defective and then five-star 1.2mm, South Qi and Wiha comparison Round, millet some of the tip, but the southern flag of the five-star is not enough fine, millet head uneven, work generally below is T2, millet head is uneven, unknown reason, South flag hexagonal angle is not clear, wiha win the following is T3, millet or injustice, but the difference is not big, but still work better wiha

Finally, T4, the accuracy is almost, but a closer look or wiha slightly better watch on the packaging that is indeed made in the country

The original has been strange how can we do Wei Han manufacturing, get the hand to know, the original really just hung a name
but then said back, 99 yuan this kind of packaging such work, or pretty good
but the handle is too long , The feeling is not very cool to use, repair the phone quite uncomfortable, unstable

  • Got one in China for around$19

  • Not suprised since Wiha screwdrivers are now made/forged in China rather than Germany so no don't expect German quality.

  • Both codes expired

  • This price is dropped again for another 100 units, beating Banggood once again. Ensure you buy in AUD to get the best price.

  • can someone please recommend a toolkit for repairing watches?

  • EDIT: wrong deal
