Just bought 1Kg of Marinara Mix (Seafood: Prawn, fish fillet, squid tube, Mussels) for $7.8x/Kg. I bought it at the Woolies in Sydney CBD. Its 50% off original price.

That's not bad, I could make some spaghetti to go with that. All Woolies or just CBD? Where does it come from? I've found grit in the mussels in mixes from Thailand.
I believe these mixes contain 'local and imported ingredients'. Wouldn't know which are imported, though.

It's very obvious what's in it just by looking at it - Prawn, fish fillet, squid tube & Mussels as the poster of this deal mentioned. We're not talking about seafood extender here. They're big pieces of everything.
This actually seems to be on special once a month or so. I've bought it a couple of times now to make up a batch of spaghetti. Doesn't heat up in the microwave too well unfortunately (i'm cooking for one), but it's certainly quite tasty the first night.
I think they often have this offer. Pity they aren't that fresh or tasty to me.

If you want to try something different from seafood marinara mix in a tomato pasta sauce, I stirfry in sweet chili sauce and have with noodles or rice - tasty and easy.
