Price jacked up. The official AU Intel Web site lists this at $479 retail.
    https://www.intel.com.au/content/www/au/en/products/boards-k…

Warehouse_1 lists it at $669 discounted at 25% to $501 which is still above Intel recommended retail price.

Also selling for $466.95 on their standard site:

      http://www.warehouse1.com.au/epages/shop.sf/en_AU/?ObjectPat…

Still 60ish off cheapest price, but they have bumped it up to recover their discount-fee to ebay.

Agreed; but with the ebay (20%) and cashreward (1.25%) the overall value comes to be ~$397which is still good. Thus posted. others on ebay are around the $539 which i agree it is overpriced.

  • How good would this machine be for connecting to a TV to download YouTube lol… my dad doesn't know how to use a proper PC so I need a simple solution

NOT .. you need to add ram hdd and os. Get an android box..

      • Is there an app on an android box that's like 1 click download? Honestly looking for a solution like that since he just wants YouTube > USB and sometimes I don't have the time to help him.

        But thanks for the advice.

      • Yup! for quick conversion of Dumb-TV to a SMART-ONE get one of those MiBox (under $100).

Its a perfect HTPC; I have the first generation of NUC and now time to upgrade as the kids doing multiple streams from (Plex Server which runs on the NUC) and stressing it out. But do note that this is Barebone; you will still need RAM + HD + OS to get it up and running. But once setup its an excellent little machine.

    • Does he want to watch (stream) YouTube or download the videos for later?

      • Watch YouTube and then download those videos to a USB

        • Well that is a lot more difficult than a simple TV box
