Optus Cellular iPad 32GB $35/M or iPad 128GB $40/M for 10GB Data (24mth Contract)

70

Hi guys, I saw lots of 32gb Ipad wifi deal recently which cost around ~$370. So I thought this might be a better deal for someone who wants some data along with the tablet and you get the cellular model instead of the wifi one. Also they probably have better warranty if you compare to the Grey Imports one.

You could also get the 128GB for $5 more.

I thought they only have $70 for 100GB data option the last time I checked, no?

      • no, i got it 40$ for 10gb, 3 months ago

      • best option….I reckon…

  • They had the offer a couple of months ago, then it finished. Now it's back again. Good deal with the included 10gb data and other inclusions.

This is normal, not a bargain.

    • “Get an iPad 32GB for $35/mth with 10GB data and stream Netflix datafree. Netflix subscription required. Min. cost $840/24 mths.”

      • Damn, this deal would have been way better than the shitty Samsung one I got.
Although the Samsung is only $20 with the unmetered streaming. Still would rather the smootheness of an iPad lol.

        • I have an android tablet and phone I use Otg with USB sticks and movies are mkv,mp4 etc and a Windows laptop. If I get the iPad how do I get my movies onto it.

        • @paulaus:
I think you gotta plug your iPad into the computer?
          Not sure. Itunes is annoying

Feel free to actually post a deal one day, Tech1s.

      • My comment is not a judgement on the post, it is a statement. I have been with optus to recognise that this is normal.

  • I feel you need to add the icing on the cake in the description, which is unmetered Netflix streaming.

    • And free optus sport

  • is this the iPad 2017 model?

It wouldn't be the iPad 1. I hope.

    • It is.

  • Good deal

  • Includes Optus tv which makes it pretty good for anyone into premier league

  • Can you make calls on these plans if you stick the SIM in a phone?

    • yep, using voip

      • I meant using the cell network

        • You donot have phone number

        • @bt123123:

Hmm ok. I thought all SIMs had a number.

I had a Telstra mobile broadband SIM and that could send texts and receive calls but not make calls

          @chromium:
          I think you can.
I have the Samsung tablet plan and I was give a phone number for it.
Haven't put it in a phone to test it but I don't really see why you couldn't?
They just state that somehow they can see that you aren't using it in the original tablet so if you try and use the free streaming services you will be charged for it.

        • @Hirolol:
since the OG samsung tablet P1000 (I had one) they could make voice calls
i thought apple has disabled this as they never could

        • @TALLBALLER:
The guy was asking if you take the sim out and put it in a phone.
Either way I don't know for sure haha. I'm pretty much guessing but I do know they gave me a phone number with the sim in my Samsung
