      Agreed, a transmitter into one's ear to be so close to the brain is dumb. Still, some people see it as convenient - what can you do but let them be. Classic conundrum - pleasure now versus pain later.

    I'm interested in getting a pair. How good is the sound quality? Does it compare to the piston pro HD?

    OK.. here's my honest review from the set I received recently:

    Good:
    1) Sound quality is great. Very good range from the low to high ends. Much better than Plantronics Backbeat Go3. (Cough)
    2) Lightweight and comfy to use.
    3) Don't look like Oral B toothbrushes dangling from your ear
    4) Charge box is good to have to keep recharging

    Bad:
    1) very weak in BT signal - drops out music when you move your head about at times or even from the 2.4Ghz interference that's everywhere
    2) Pairing the two is a pain initially but once set is ok
    3) Drop outs on the left channel quite frequent as well
    4) Charge box doesnt hold much juice - and runs out after a couple of uses.
    5) Voice call quality is very soft. Have to yell for the other party to hear me

    Overall rating: 5/10 - the dropouts really kill this unit. Frustrates the hell out of me. Otherwise would be awesome.
