      Because it will be easier to manage the online store inventory and easier to send out the scales as someone does not need to check the scales matches what the person wants.

        Also stops them being left with a heap of the colour(s) no-one wanted by the time they've sold a few. Downside is, at least some buyers just won't buy at all if they can't choose the colour (ie: me).

          A good point.

          I dont think any of the colours are bad, I could think of much worse.
          If it lives in a cupboard then the colour does not really matter as it will not be seen very often.
