Was wondering how long it'd take to spot the joke lol :)

        • +44

I'd be Lyon if I said it wasn't a Lille unexpected.

Back on topic, you should book, at that price you've got nothing Toulouse.

          @supabrudda:

Joke doesn’t work if you pronounce the cities the way the French says it

        • +2

@first in line: The BREST ones do though. SOMME say it's BORDEUAX-ing on too much if you use them every opportunity that you CANNES.

    No Love for Adelaide???

Win a Grand Final, then you get to have an end of season trip to Paris. Until then it's Glenelg for you.

      • Hahahahahhahahahhahahhahahha

      • hahahahahahhaahahhaahahahahaha

      • +10

        Glenelg backwards is glenelG

    Crazy prices.

  • Need a cheap flight to Paris in late April :(

  • +1

This pricing is ridiculous for SQ.

  • +1

    Phenomenal price

  • +2

I heard Paris used to be nice.

    • Unless you speak French

  • Damn if only these were for next year i'd be in!

    • +1

Wait for August next year, Oct and Nov are considered low season and there's always good deals for that time released around midyear.

  • Couldn't find this deal at http://iknowthepilot.com.au/ as claimed?

  • Wow! haven't seen it this cheap on SQ since Nov 16. Although, not as good as $607 return but still an awesome bargain.

  • +1

Wish I could do a two-day layover in Singapore on those fares.

  • +1

    Damnnnnnn so cheap……

It's such a pity it's so far away that you can't just got there for a few days like asia

  • +1

way to expensive, id much rather pay $1600 to go to nauru

  • Sorry to ask any one,
is this flight can be upgrade to biz class with own Krisflyer point or not?
    Cheers

    • +1

Based on Expedia, these are on booking class K, so looks to be a no. I believe only Y, B, and E classes can upgrade from Economy.

      • +1

        Hi Jeppetto367

        Thanks for your info
        Cheers for that^^

        • Definitely no points upgrade possible on this fare type.

  • does anyone know the plane they use? i went to singapore and then to koh samui via sq and was a really old SQ plane [a330?]

    • I did a quick search eariler and I think it's an A330 to SIN, then A380 V2 to CDG.

      • cheers - at least the main leg is a a380

        • If by main leg you mean the little one…

    • Depends where you're leaving from. BNE currently uses a mix of 777-200 and A330, soon to be replaced by A350.

      • +1

Perth but A330 was what my recent SQ flight to spore was

        • Perth was the same as Bris I believe. Not sure if you're getting the A350 replacement in the near future, maybe someone else can answer that

    • i have a bit of a list/matrix of SQ between MEL and various European cities that i made while plotting holidays in Europe a few months back.

there were 4 flights a day from MEL and they varied, from memory (the list is at home) the shitty-timed ones (leaving at 1am) were the good ones on the A380, there was an A350 option i think and 2x A330 options.

i think CDG was one of the few airports to get an A380 service as well on the EU end.

  • Earlier this year, I paid $600 to fly SQ to Paris from Melbourne. The ticket was sold by Virgin Australia. Anyone still remember that "price error"?

    • Yup. How long was the transit in Singapore?

      • they have multiple flights a day, so it is quite flexible. And I am a Star Alliance Gold member, so I sometimes prefer to stay in lounge a little bit longer. But have to say, that SQ lounge for *G members is sub-par, and it does not worth the long layover.

  • if this was any other city in Europe i would have booked.. Hate Paris
I know i could train/plane, but still the inconvenience of flying there and out is annoying

    • did you run some searches on the SQ website? quite often they have pretty decent deals to other places nearby at the same time, the deals to China back at the start of the year only originally said Beijing/Shanghai but there was actually about 4 or 5 cities you could fly in & out of for the same prices.

  • +1

"I can't go to Paris in November because I'm spending a week in Newcastle instead"

that just doesn't sound right :(

  • Question for those in the know, but conversely - I have a french friend interested in coming here - yet when you search the same thing but from CDG to Sydney, the price is almost 2.5 times.. I thought the sale would work both ways? :/

    • :-) buy 2x return tickets .. and ur friend still saves some money :-)

      • +1

I know that is probably a joke, but don't do that. Subsequent legs on the same ticket are usually cancelled if you don take an earlier one.

        • Correct, I hope that's a joke :p. Doing it on the way there is fine though (although it probably secretly pisses them off). Just make sure you have the right visa for the final destination or they won't let you board.

  • what a great price to Paris what a bummer its to the one City I never want to go to again.

  • Man that's a great price to Paris. Too bad I only want to go halfway.

Do you know if there's anything coming up soon for Singapore/Kuala Lumpur/Bangkok?

  • Nothing to do in Paris
