MAVICP107

Not the cheapest it's ever been but a great price nonetheless. There is no tariff/duty fees at collection as the item value they declare is usually under $1000. I did not pay any fees upon parcel collection when I went to collect my package.

Fly More combo also available:
US$1099 ~AU$1377.96 delivered

  • Does anyone know what the go with warranty would be? Would it need to be returned to GearBest/China if faulty and within warranty period?

You have to purchase DJI Care through DJI website as soon as you unpack your drone and activate it within 48 hours.

I followed this step and my drone is currently being repaired at DJI burwood factory in Melbourne VIC. A lot of people avoid buying grey stock/import thinking that the warranty process would be a pain but it's actually not, warranty and repairs are all done locally. Good luck

        Great info, thank you!

  • I bought the Mavic Pro Fly More from DWI a couple of weeks ago when Ebay had the 18% off sale and I researched into the warranty back then.

From what I understand DJI will still cover warranty but you will need to send it back to China. I got the Fly More for $1256 so for me the saving compared to buying it locally easily outweighed the potential return cost.

    • Did you have to pay import duties ? Unless seller fudged the receipt a little to bring it down under $1000

      • No, they put $840 down on the included invoice.

        • Do you think they will put under $1000 for the fly more combo?

        • @gembel:

I sent Gearbest a PM here and asked if they would and I got some kind of generic unrelated reply, so I didn't go ahead buying one off them, which was fortunate because a day or two later Ebay had the 18% off promo and so I bought it through DWI who were happy to change the invoice.

  • im wondering if the fly more is worth it at $1377.96 ?? any comments ?

I think it just depends on how much you think you'll fly it or if you think the convenience is worth it. It's pretty sweet having three batteries fully charged ready to go.

The other day I put it up off the beach trying to track down some whales that we spotted off the coastline. After 20 minutes or so we gave up and were bringing it home when we spotted some dolphins surfing in the waves. I brought it back, swapped the battery and put it back up to hover above them. Would have got some awesome footage if the memory card didn't fill up straight away!

    • I bought the Mavic on its own from mymobile HK for $1140 or something around that, and it was well worth it! Bought 2 separate batteries (new & genuine) for $193 through Aliexpress, DJI fly more shoulder bag, and lots of accessories through eBay etc and still saved more than I would have paid for the fly more combo for $1300-1400.

If you can't be bothered buying things separately or bargain hunting for best prices then go for the fly more :)
