As mentioned on the previous deal this is the newest 'Spectrum' version which replaced the previous 'Spark' version. "New version has a revised palm rest & the key caps redesigned from concave to a more traditional feel which will no doubt please a lot of potential buyers."

  • WOW great price. I love mine

HN also doing the G810 for $117.60 - that's $1.60 cheaper than the recent JB deal.

  • Does it have mac support? Logitech info page only mentions Windows. But there is mac software for it. I expect it would work as a basic keyboard but the lights look cool! :)

Why do you want a gaming keyboard for a mac? ;)

    • OSX supports all windows keyboards AFAIK and changes the windows key to the command key.

The function keys won't work for things like screen brightness adjustment though.

I use a G710+ on my iMac but have to keep the wireless Mac keyboard around for when I need to use target display mode to swap the iMac display source between my gaming computer and the iMac internals. I use a Belkin Flip KVM switch to swap the G710+ and MX Master between the iMac and gaming PC.

  • Personal peeve: I hate the "special" keycap design on arrows, WASD and some macros. I got a G410 a few weeks ago, it has same keycaps.

I've been using this for a few months and it is a fantastic keyboard - not loud so ok to use at work.

not loud so ok to use at work

Great, that's what I needed to hear :)

  • Does the G910 require the use of 2x USB ports to power it ( this is the case with my G710+ )

Edit - found the answer and no single USB although I just discovered I didnt need to plug in both USBs on my G710+ ..lol

    • Correct, it's just for the USB pass-through if you want :P

    • Wait, really? I own the G710+ as well. Haha, the more you know. Had both plugged in all this time.

    • I'm using a G710+ right yeah can confirm your edit that it only has a single USB and works fine with just that plugged in, the other USB is a straight passthrough for the USB port on the keyboard.

  • Recommend. Had mine for a few months. Took a bit to get used to the change from cherry switches, but love it now.

These keyboard seem pretty great, been tempted to get one for a while. If only they'd just remake the G15 keyboard but use their mechanical keys. That LCD screen was amazingly handy. Or is I guess. Still using mine.

G910 is great and I would still buy it again….However !!!
I had mine replaced after several month's due to a keyboard issue and this did NOT fix the problem :(

After a few month's the @ gets replaced with " . These keys are reversed sometimes….

    • +2

Uhhh, that's due to the OS not recognising the keyboard layout properly, in the control panel on Windows you can change the keyboard layout to fix that… It's not an issue with the keyboard itself.

      • This had confused me as to why it happened a few times for me also. Windows has a shortcut assigned to switch between keyboard installed languages and its bound to Left Alt + Shift. Its super easy to accidentally use.

        • Alt shift has made my life (profanity) so 소소소소소소소 much better. 하하하 고마워 마이크로소프트.

Azmunga "That LCD screen was amazingly handy." G910 comes with ARX DOCK and software to hook up your mobile phone…
Will not work with my Window's 10 phone (iOS and Android only :( ) and it is picky about loading on Android Tablet.
ARX sofware is NOT user freindly….

    • If your @ and " get switched it might be because Windows is changing the default input language.

  • Don't think I'll upgrade my G19 for this, but that looks like a good price for a mechanical.

How are the Romero G's compared to cherry browns?
Seems that people are fans of both

I've never had a mechanical keyboard before, keen to try it out for work/gaming not wanting it to be too loud/hard to press

    • Interested in this too… At least the Razer boards have a gap in the packaging which lets you have a press. Logitech boxes don't :(

    • I tested both in store today. For feel, i definitely prefer cherry brown and would have purchased a keyboard with those except they were too loud. Not good in a quite office and or if you want to use them late at night when others are sleeping.
No issues with being too hard to press.

      • Thanks for your feedback.

The Romer's must be less loud because of the O-ring? Are you going to get the G910?

As long as they aren't too loud I guess.

        • Romer g is quieter but not much. I think you would still hear every keystroke at night. I thought it was significantly louder than a Logitech MK710, Lenovo yoga 2 pro and X1 keyboards.

    • The G910 keys are great when they work…
The NOT often used keys get a bit stuck sometimes….
It is not that much of an issue for me….

I've had the G810 for a couple of months and I love it. Great mech keyboard, paid $150 or so form mwave for it at the time… oops!

    • Got the g810 recently too, really like it

  • Been looking out for a first time gaming keyboard, so which should I get? ( I assume the G910)

    Thanks

    • Get one with cherry switches. Blue if you don't mind loud clacking and brown if you do.

  • Thanks, bought a G910.

  • Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Browns for $145 if anyones looking for alternatives.

    • Cheers.

Have you used both? Do you prefer cherry browns?

  • Looking for one too. Very good value for this price. But the design doesn't look that appealing. Still considering to get either this vs chroma rgb v2 yellow or k70 rgb rapidfire. Price wise, this is the best so far.

    • design on these suck ass. I'm going with 610 when I can.

Is any of these keyboards noisy/loud?

I am using Gamdias Hermes E1, bought from MSY months ago, but found way too noisy at night when people are sleeping.. I think its using blue switches..

I am thinking to switch to red switches, but is this logitech keyboard quieter or noiser than red?

Not for gaming.. Mainly typing and coding.

    • Using my G810 for work, sounds same as normal Logitech one, only one you maybe find noiser is space bar. But no one complained in my office.

    • not at all. tried it in the store. just like normal keyboard really.

    • I am considering g810 and Corsair Strife Cherry MX Silent switch which can be obtained for 129 (red led).

Does anyone know which one is better?
Is Romer G swich tactile or linear?

  • omg… I bought a G413 keyboard like 3 weeks ago …. cuz these were expensive..
this is so cheap, would love to get that G810 keyboard…

  • went to jb hifi to see if they would match it but they wouldn't, cheeky buggers

looks like its been ozbargained though, cant buy it online at the moment

    • +1

Their whole website has been down for much of the day, should still be in stock at stores if you called your local.

      • +1

I remember Liverpool and Blacktown NSW were showing 'In Stock' at around 1am this morning, if that helps any

    • They price matched for me…. Didn't even question it, just showed them the HN page on my phone.

    • I picked up the G610 cordless from JB after seeing it with the same special. They wouldn't price match (apparently JB won't match "percentage off" specials), but the guy did reduce the price to less than the HN price anyway!

  • Spectrum Version?
Didn't realize that the zx spectrum did 60fps….

  • Just got mine yesterday (G910) price-matched from EB Games.

Tried JB first and they didn't price match that low for this.

Can finally replace my 9-year old G15 with some of that RGB goodness :P

    Thanks, OP.

    edit: added model

  • I game on an Apple chiclet keyboard without issue. Had to raise it almost an inch on a paperback though.
