Only 1 port is qc 3.. But yes it's a great charger.. I use 1.

    • Far out. I was just about to buy. Thanks.

Might as well go with the tronsmart one that does quick charge on all ports.

      • +1

Would you be able to link the tronsmart charger product page? Sounds good to me if it has quick charge on all ports.

        • +2

Look up Tronsmart Titan. 90W 5 ports.

Saying that, I just noticed it's only QC2. I bought it a while ago (when qc3 wasn't even out) so I assumed there was a replacement.

Either way, all qc standards are backwards compatible. Might be slightly less efficient at QC2 but speed is comparable.

          Edit - http://www.tronsmart.com/usb-desktop-chargers-tronsmart-uc5f…

      • +1

        Tronsmart is the same..

        • +1

One of them is the same and faster. The other has all 5 ports with QC ;)

        • +2

          @Clear:
But I don't think is at that price with all QC ports.

I am the other way I don't always want to use QC to charge my phone. So that I can plug it in to charge it overnight and the phone won't get hot.

        • +2

          @superforever:

Agreed. My chargers near the beds are all slow chargers that I've accumulated over the years.

My wife, myself and two of my kids all have qc compatible phones. So the tronsmart x 5 qc model sits in the living room for quick top ups.

Not saying this is a bad deal.

  • Think this has been as low as $20 in the past

    • That was the one without the 3.0 port which is what i have :(

  • +2

    $12 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/276438
Edit: that was reply to bs0

    • +4

      That dont have qc

    • That is the one I am using no QC.

  • +1

They really need to start releasing a version with more than 1xQC port imo.

Also the company magicpro has one that charges surface pro as well….and does this charge MBP?

  • Anyone know about how many charges I would get out of my S7 edge from this?

    • +15

      This ain't no powerbank

      • XDD

      • Unless he meant how many charge cycles as there is a limit to the charger.

    • +5

Zero if you don't plug it in :)

    • Unlimited.

    • you will get a full charge everytime

  • +1

I would say around 2000, after that you would upgrade to a newer model.

  • Do you know if there is a model with higher capacity, e.g. 50W or 60W.
I just worry if I charge 5 ipads at the same time 5x2x5, will overload it.

    • No it will not overload. It will just charge at lower AMPS, which is still faster than your average USB charger.

      • -1

if you are in a hurry, plug one device in, if you are patient plug in 5 overnight. the idea of multiple ports is more about you are probabaly only using 1 or 2 devices at a time, but you charge lots overnight.

usb c charging is more interesting than more qc ports as more devices move to usb c eg laptops, and they can use high wattage for charging via a single port.

even some table lamps are now usb as with primary power source or rechargeable.

you can get 90w chargers but the cost is double 40w chargers …….

if it comes with AU power cord that is $5 worth value already that you don’t need to buy at office works or jaycar compared to some other chargers.

  • I've been considering one from AuKey for a while. Though all this mention of TronSmart isn't helping my decision making.

    • Only qc2 not qc3.

    • After reading a review - Nope.jpg

  • Can someone tell me if this is good for when travelling in lieu of bringing a whole powerboard?

    • Absolutely. The similar Tronsmart charger saved us many times while holidaying in the US. We got by with a tiny plug adapter, which I used for my laptop. No powerboard or multiple USB chargers needed.

The QC is especially important on holidays (imagine waking up for that ONE SINGLE DAY you have to go to Disneyland and you forgot to charge your phone last night and your old charger takes an hour to get half a charge). We bought a small QC 2 charger for the rental car too.

      • People seem to rate the Tronsmart more though.

      • Are you the real Agro?

        • Nah, just the Official Agro of OzBargain (like how shopping centre Santas all just report to the real one).

  • +1

400g weight.. almost double of the Tronsmart equivalent. A real concern for travel

    • Since you mentioned travel what is the Tronsmart equivalent? And is Tronsmart a reputable brand?

  • My 2 port blitzwolf one arrived a couple days ago and it is good but emits a blue light if you don't have anything plugged into the port.
The light is always on but when something is plugged in it just covers it.

    • That's how it works… The light isn't even bright so doesn't bother me at all.

      • Research shows that blue light is no good for sleep

        • Gag it with some tape.

    • or you could buy some vitamins

  • +3

So, what is the difference between this one and the Tronsmart Quick Charge 3.0?

    Which is better?

    https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Tronsmart-Quick-Charge-3-0-U…

    • +4

If you look closer at the total values the Tronsmart looks like it's a better choice if you have more than 4 high-powered devices plugged in. This is because the non-QC ports share 36W/7.2A on the Tronsmart instead of 22W/4.4A on BlitzWolf. The QC ports appear the same on both and on both, the non-QC ports on both have a max of 2.4A.

So, on the Tronsmart you could have three devices plugged in drwaing the max current for their port without any drop (2.4A * 3 devices = 7.2A), but on the BlitzWolf, the current is already shared on two devices consuming 2.4A (2.4A * 2 devices = 4.8A — Higher than the max 4.4, therefore both would probably charge at 2.2A each). If you add a third on the BlitzWolf, assuming it requires the same draw, each device will (likely) only get 1.47A each.

      Tronsmart:
      (18W/1 port + 36W(7.2A)/4 ports) 54W total

      Input AC 100-240A 50/60HZ 1.5A Max
Output (VoltIQ) DC 5V 7.2A Max
      Output (Quick Charge) DC 3.6V-6.5V/3A 6.5V-9V/2A 9V-12V/1.5A

      BlitzWolf:
      (18W/1 port + 22W(4.4A)/4 ports) 40W total

      USB Port 18W(Max) QC3.0 Port + 22W(Max) 4.4A 4-Ports
      Total Power 40W (Max)
      Input AC 100-240V~50/60Hz 1A
      Output 4-Ports: 5V/4.4A (Max)
      QC3.0 Port: 3.6-6.5V/2.4A 6.5-9V/2A 9-12V/1.5A (Max)

  • I bought one of these for AU $24.99 on Saturday??

    • +1

      Congratulations.

      • -2

I don't think congratulations are enough here.

Guys, lets throw a party to commemorate this momentous occasion.

        You guys in?

For he's a jolly good fellooooow! and so say all of us. and so say all of us.

        Hip Hip

    • You better invest that 11c wisely.

      • Fowl is obviously an ozbargain gold member, you on the other hand need to hand back your ozbargain membership mate!!!!

  • How does this compare to the BlitzWolf® BW-S6 QC 3.0+2.4A 30W besides the extra ports?

seems like that has a higher wattage if that even matters?

  • Is this available in black?

  • +1

I am waiting for this charger to be delivered from Banggood since last November. I contacted Banggood who wouldnt refund the payment or ship another one out. Buyer beware!

    • I have no problem with refund from them for my missing powerbank.

      • +1

Banggood refused to refund me for my missing Blitzwolf

        • Paypal?

        • @kevsta89: Cant do PayPal refund after 180 days are up. Banggood know this thats why they wont refund.

        • @laser:
Not being smart but why didn't you do a paypal dispute when you had not received the charger after a month?

        • @Hero:

He should ask after a month and Banggood will ask you to wait for another 1-2 weeks. If still hasn't receive it they will refund.

  • Bought 3 phone charging cables from Banggood. They don’t work. Wrote to company have not heard anything back.

    Cables were branded blitz wolf.

    Minus vote from me.

  • Is there any reason these can't be used for 5 simultaneous USB power supplies for (for example) Chromecasts, Raspberry Pis, and so on? I'd be amazed if not, but then those magic beans I bought…

    • This is what I've put my current one into use for. NES mini, SNES mini and Raspberry pi so far.

  • My order turned up on Friday so 17 business days total. Pretty happy with it for the price. No lights emitting from it, no buzzing etc.

  • Finally got mine today also!
