Is it just me, or does that thing look like it's going to tip over a soon as you try to take it around a corner?

    • Yeah, you'd have to be careful. I think the selling point of it is that's it's foldable. Something you can easily fold and put in the car to use on a day trip. Otherwise I'd prefer a wheelbarrow in my backyard :)

How fast are you going with it?!

The wheels just look so close to the middle, and considering they'd be the trailing wheels when you lug it around, seems like it would be unbalanced when turning.

Looked at a pic of the Kmart one and has a similar layout anyway (with thinner wheels), guessing if it was a problem all the Kmart mums would have been a bit louder about it.

    • Think "wheelbarrow", but with a wider, more stable front wheel.

  • Thanks OP bought one. Will be very handy carting all the kids stuff from the car to the beach in summer.

I also bought one. In the past, i somehow always avoided buying it and every visit to beach, I regretted. It is not easy to transfer all family toys and tents at the beach from car. The trolley was on special earlier also, but delivery was killing the deal. This time around, free delivery really made the deal

  • I hope it lives up to the reviews.

  • Costco have a similar one, but with thinner wheels so probably not as good on sand as this, but with a single adjustable length pull handle not trolley style like this. It is ~$80 however. This and the Costco one are the cheapest (of the ones that appear to be of good quality) that I could find when I searched the usual places last night.

Bought one too. Thanks. My only concern looking at the pictures is the height of the handle. I'm 6'4" tall so hoping I don't have to hunch over to drag the damn thing along as no doubt I'll be the poor sucker that'll be doing the dragging.

By the way, anyone interested in this, SCA has an offer if you spend $60, you get a $10 gift card. So obviously you need to find something to add for $11 to get back $10. Just sayin'.

    • Yeh does look a little low. The Kmart one looks like it has an adjustable height handle. Maybe you'll have to tie a piece of rope to it ;)

      • I am also a little concerned about height, But as far as Kmart trolley, i am not sure their wheels are made for loose sand. They look very thin and may not work very well on beach. Just a guess though

Handlebar height is 88cm from ground.

        • @thevofa:

Thank you. Coincidentally, mine arrived today. The height is just acceptable. I'd prefer it to be 5cm longer but I can live with it. As it is, the handle is bolt upright for me to grip it without hunching over. Maybe an excuse to have the wife or kids do the towing. At least I'm not getting tripped by the trolley, which is the main thing.

Otherwise, it's pretty impressive for the money. Very decent quality frame, if on the weighty side. The canvas seems pretty decent too. I like the wide wheels. The rubber through the middle means you don't sound like a locomotive when you're trekking down the footpath with it, which is clever. Folds up really easily and has a carry handle. On first impression alone, it's a winner.

  • So… it's $49 and includes free delivery (no in-store pickup). If you add a few more items to take advantage of the $10/$20 credit on offer, you have to pay shipping on the lot, negating your savings. No way (that I can see) buying this will qualify for the extra credit this weekend.

  • Thanks OP, just added an fuel filter to push it over $60 mark to get $10 credit. They have free delivery on parts.

However, I made a rookie mistake of not going through cash back :(

  • It weighs 10.5kg, in case anyone is reading this thread for the next time it is on sale. Folds up really well though.
