  Does anyone who owns one of these know whether it plays back Dolby Digital Plus properly?

  My stupid Onkyo is supposed to support it but both my FetchTV and Chromecast come through as static bursts of sound whenever either device uses that codec. (all other standard DTS and DD is fine). Been bugging me for years.

  Spending $800 to MAYBE fix it is hard but spending $800 to definitely fix it may be doable?

  HDCP 2.2 only on 3 HDMI ports?

  Does this mean I can only use 3 x 4k devices?

    I think you got HDCP2.2 mixed up with HDMI2.0. HDMI2.0 is required for 4k.

      Well, I'm not confused about HDMI 2.0 and hdcp 2.2, but I am confused about which devices require hdcp 2.2. I know HDMI 2.0 has the bandwidth for 4k @ 60Hz, but I'm trying to find info about whether all 4k devices have hdcp 2.2.

      Would my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X work ok on the non hdcp 2.2 ports?

      I have lots of devices and am concerned that 3 hdcp 2.2 devices won't be enough. PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and Chromecast Ultra would fill all 3 ports and I'd have no room for any future devices.
