Flights to Palau $1106 Return with China Airlines (November)

40

Had to book a last minute flight to Palau and noticed China Airlines, have very good deals ~ $1100 departing Tuesday and returning Saturdays for the departures in the next 6 weeks or so from Brisbane (maybe Sydney as well).

Good for a quick three or ten day trip

Nov 7th to Nov 11th is $1106.

There are only a few seats left.

Normal flights to Palau (Koror) are insanely priced ~1800+ and a nightmare with connections via guam. These flights with China Airlines stop in Taiwan there and back.

What are you going to Palau for? I lived there for a 1.5 years back in 2013/14. Given how no one seems to know about the place I was fairly surprised to see the name pop up on my ozbargain RSS feed.

    • Maybe for Jellyfish lake?

      • Not many jellys in there at the moment from what I've heard.

        • heard it is off limits at the moment

Question I'll ask you is why should I go to Palau? :) If this deal is so amazing what is there to see and do there that you recommend?

this deal is amazing if you wanted to go Palau previously, and couldnt due to flight costs. I am not selling the place itself, but the price of the flight

just visit a country i have never been before. trying to do that and kiribati this year

      • Kiribati is an impressive destination on a countries I've been to list. So few people make it there ( I am yet to).

        • solomon airlines flies there pretty cheap (well ~1000) from brisbane.

have you been there or not? your sentence is yes then no

          @unclesnake:

          No. Not yet.

I've been tempted by the Solomon Airlines tickets myself.

        • @sambutler9876: air nauru does cheap returns to majuro marshall islands, which i might do on same trip from tarawa

        • @unclesnake:

Nauru airlines are not cheap….I have never seen them (or.when they were Our Airlines) cheap.

        • @sambutler9876: only Brisbane to Nauru part is dear, cause it can fort government workers, the others seem reasonable

        • @unclesnake: plus visa problem :(

        • @stefanko: yeh it is mental. must book flights before visa issued, flights are $1500 return. ok i will not visit your country and go elsewhere

    • any tips

For me, I'd go to dive. One of the best places in the world, assuming marine life over wrecks/caves. Look on you tube for blue corner. There aren't many places like that left in the world really.
