Yes, I am aware that their plastic jars are rubbish, but gotta admit I do enjoy the chia seed ones…personal preference, I know, but I'd pick this ahead of the Pic's deal.. runs away from potential crowd lynching

I'm a fan of the chia seed variety, but can also confirm the jars are crappy- p.b all over my floor not once but twice.
At this stage I can't really blame the jar so much as my (peanut) butter fingers…
The jars are horrible, you often see hem leaking in the store. I don't think they are hygienic. They are not really suitable for the upside down usage technique.
Someone in marketing wanted a differentiation, they got one, it's crap.
It's a good product but I only buy it when it is $2.50 as I was a few weeks ago and I closely inspect each jar before I buy.
Label also states 'Made in New Zealand from imported and local ingredients' so could well be a backdoor China product.

Solution: Buy Mother Earth Peanut Butter > Transfer to a better jar.
