There are only a handful of insurance deals out there:
- 6 Weeks free by Frank health
- $150 gift sign up bonus by NIB
- Waiting periods waived by AHM

The deals by NIB and AHM seems to be long running, but some of you might find the 6 weeks free deal by Frank Health useful if you are currently paying a large sum for your health insurance (Couple cover/Family cover)

The Deal

• Buy a Hospital+Extra cover
• Pay for 1 month (No limit how high or low weekly premium)
• Get 6 weeks of free cover (I assume you have to keep the same cover)

Some maths:
* Pay 1 month of cover ~ 30 days
* Free 6 weeks of cover = 42 days
* In total you are paying for 30 days for 72 days cover [ 30/72 - 1 ~ 58.3% discount ]

  I thought 2 and 6 months waiting periods is always waived if you asked, regardless of the insurance.

    Yes it has to be combined hospital+extra - let me update

    They do have a very minimal extra cover (no optical)
