Any deals on the BlitzWolf BW-S7?

    • +3

I'll chuck the rep a message about it, will see what they say, but most likely they'll be able to get a few dollars off I hope.

  • I don't have much luck with these Blitzwolf chargers. The first one kept flashing and charging my phone on and off. The second one stopped fast charging my Samsung. I recently had to purchase a new charger from Officeworks,it cost me $40

    • Mine gets really hot and makes a whining noise…

      • +38

        Buy her some flowers

        • mine work fine, have 3 in different rooms …..more problems with cables going faulty than chargers.

  • Any deals on a BlitzWolf lightning cable? Wanted to buy this charger along with a cable together.

  • The BliwzWolf BW-S6 with QC3.0 will fast charge a samsung s8 right? just making sure :)

    • It sure will :)

      • Sweet, Thanks for the fast reply! Cant seem to find cheap qc AU plugs anywhere until now :)

        • +2

No worries, just make sure you're using the QC3.0 port to Fast charge, it's the bottom (orange coloured) port.

    • +1

What about the charger that came with the phone?

      • That's almost like asking: Why does this product exist?

  • Any deals on the BlitzWolf® BW-S10 30W USB Type-C charger? Would complement the iPhone X nicely

    • +1

Seems like it's in pre-order for $10.99 USD, that's probably the cheapest it can go at the moment sorry.

    • Hm? What's the benefit of having Type-C for iPhone X? I thought they're still on Lightning.

      • +1

Type iPhone input is lightning, but use a USB-C fast charger.
        I.e. with a USB-C to lightning connector.
Because the new iPhones have fastcharge capabilities but only with a type-C to lightning cable and the relevant charger.
That is, only with the official USB-C to lightning cable because they haven’t issued mFi USB-C cables yet.

        • +1

Haha woah. Why didn't they just put in type-c on it then… Talk about stubborn.

        • they had one that had C, quick and normal 2.4 amps ….. haven't seen them lately but own one.

guess it's more the QC current that is the seeling point eg 30W than cable type as a smart device probably doesn't talk much to a charger.

        • +1

It's more that the iPhoneX supports the USB PD spec, and the only connector that supports the higher voltages is a Type C connector! =) NORMALLY this would be a TypeC-TypeC cable…but is Apple is Apple. People would revolt if they changed connectors AGAIN!

  • +1

What are people mainly using this for, charging device away from home? Generally it appears a device comes with a quick charger if it supports it.

    • +1

Charging for multiple rooms etc. The iphone 8 doesnt come with a quick charger yet supports it :)

      • How fast is iPhone 8 with this fast charger compared to its stock 5W charger?

Edit: Which of the Blitzwolf lightning cable can go along with the BW-S6 charger to fast charge an iPhone 8?

        • +1
        • @PattyDaPanda: Cheers. Is that all you need? What about the stock Apple Lightning cable, will that do too?

        • @edfoo: im not too sure since i dont own an iphone 8, sorry about that

        • @PattyDaPanda: Ah I see. No worry, thanks for your help.

        • +1

@edfoo: I think you require a USB-C to lightning cable (from Apple), and obviously a fast charger with a USB C port.

        • @ts13: Sigh, that Apple cable is expensive ($35). Oh well, in that case I won't bother.

        • +1

give it a couple of months, the IPhone 8 is still fairly new when it comes to after market demand for chargers and cables.

in a recent trivia quiz… Q: most common thing left behind in hotel rooms? A: phone charger :^)

    • Grey import and don't want to bring the transformer AND travel adapter with me

  • OK for the LG V20? Phone has QC3 (I think) but my charger says:
    100-240v 50/60Hz 0.5A
    9.0v = 1.8A
    5.0v = 1.8A

    • Should be fine, as it supports QC3.0

    • yep i use the s6 to charge mine. works fantastically

  • Which one would fast charge my Samsung Galaxy S7? Sorry studing for my HSC and would like to make a quick purchase. Thanks :P

    • +1

The BW-S6 is the one that you want :)

  • Will this with wireless charger (BW-FWC1) quick charge my Galaxy S7E? And if yes, is there any way to combine with a single coupon?

    • +1

Yep that's correct, and you'll need to order seperately to take advantage of both coupons unfortunately.

Any chance of a discount on BlitzWolf® 20W 3A BW-L1 Foldable Portable Sun Power Solar Charger?
I'd prefer the BlitzWolf® BW-L3 28W 3.8A version but that appears to out of stock.

  • +1

Anyone know how much power these thing use when nothing's plugged in? Specifically the S6 but also generally, please.

Just asking because we have them plugged in and powered on all the time.

    • If nothing is connected, why/how are they powered?

      • When the plug pack is plugged in and power is on, no devices connected to the plug pack.

        • To word it another way… if there is no draw (demand, there is no power (supply).

        • +1

          @YogaPants:

If there is an led light on the charger then that will draw small amount of power, and some leak a constant tiny amount

too for the internal circuit without anything connected.

        • @YogaPants: there is still some used though even with nothing plugged in, how much?

        • @PVA: Splitting hairs, I'm out.

        • @ozhunter68: point remains. And i see no led.

        • @YogaPants:

Yes your correct that there is no LED for this one, but many chargers in general do though, even get warm too.

  • Don't forget Cashrewards for 3.50% back!

  • I bought 2 x BlitzWolf® BW-S6 today at full price I am a little pissed off

    • +1

You can always cancel and re-order :) Unless they have already shipped it, you can submit a ticket and they'll cancel it fairly quickly.

      • +2

checked as so as I found this post, status shipped.

I never thought I would have an issue with them shipping to fast!

        • +1

Beg my pardon, but I beleive that's actually gearbest you're referring to

        • @chyawala: Totaly agree with you BangGood ship a lot faster then Gearbest, but I still get the odd item that takes awhile from Bangood. I don't have high expectations for anything that ships from China

    • So this is a great deal.

  • +1

I love the way these guys support AU power plugs …. very few companies do that, shows they have faith in Australia as a market for their products.
time to get some BW-S6 for Christmas presents.

    • Haha yeah but the AU version is $3 more than the UK version for some reason =P (low demand maybe?)

    • You do realise this is a Chinese company right? and in China they have the same plugs as we do? just upside down!

      • Sure, but my BW-S2 looks like it's made for AU market with insulation on pins as required and my Huawei powerboard does not.

Oh…, it also needs to be plugged in upside down, no deal breaker, but a work around. BW-S2 is right way up for us here.

        • +1

It's honestly just protection. Insulation costs more and obviously the plug looks better this way up. I've noticed even my Samsung Chargers are upside down sometimes. The ones that came with the phones

  • Any of these good for the iPhone 7 plus. I'm a tech noob.

  • Looks like the car charger is out of stock.

    • +1

Choose the CN warehouse, it's in pre-order but ships on the 5th of november.

  • +4

Will never purchase from Banggood ever again.

Placed an order in September and they quoted shipping time to Australia as 5-25 business days.

Item was ordered on 7/9 and marked as shipped from China warehouse on 9/9, yet in my order details now has an expected delivery date of 9/11 - which if accurate will be 44 business days.

    Absolutely ridiculous.

  • Does the BW-S6 have an inbuilt AU plug or does it come with an adapter? The page is kinda ambiguous.

    • +1

Comes with an inbuilt AU plug, no adapter required.

      • Amazing, thanks!

        • +2

Chinese plug is just an upside down Australian plug. The only issue is that cords point up and plug packs may cover switches.

  • +1

oh not another one of these chargers. this will be my 4th one i've purchased. pleeeese don't make me buy a 5th one

  • Will the QC 3.0 (2.4A) charge new iPhone 8, iPhone X faster? I presume it will charge faster but not as fast as the Quick Charge standard correct? Thanks

  • Need a deal on 4port charger please

  • My kingdom for a decent travel charger with all the necessary adaptors… (and no blue light/explosive heat).

  • cheers for this was looking to buy some more in time for Christmas. Just bought some Euro ones @ 15% off for family and perfect timing to grab some AU

  • Hi, Can we have any deal for the BW-S7 model?

    • +1

I sent the rep an email, just waiting to hear back about it :)

  • Anyone know if the BW-S6 will work with a Google Pixel?

  • Cant use the coupon as BG is having a promo on the S6 charger.

  • diff btwn s2 and s6 ?
i have a onplus 3T a3010, looking to use this in place of the oneplus dash psu provided with the phone, but has chinese power point, so pretty inconvenient.
is this the right choice… anyone..?
