Hey all, just a warning to everyone regarding shipping timeframe with Slickwraps:

When they have big discount sales like this, expect delays in shipping upto 3 months for overseas customers.

I last placed an order for a natural leather skin for my S8+ in July 2017 (using their 4th of July discount code), the order was not shipped till the end of August and it only arrived at my address mid October.

Slickwraps support told me that they prioritise US customer orders first & overseas customer orders after. The wait time of 10 weeks or more is normal for international orders.

All said, the quality of the skins are quite good for the price when on sale tbh. Just be prepared for the long wait!

    • I was hoping someone who's had actual experience with Slickwraps would chime in. I've just been looking at a few reviews online and even after discounting the obvious 'sour grapes' posts the results were still a bit disappointing. Seems the general consensus is the product is not as good as it's made out to be, and customer service is….lacking (to be polite about it).

      • yeah, unfortunately I have to agree with the poor customer service as well. They provide very little updates on order status & when queried via their online support system, it takes upto a week for a reply.

unlike zuccs, I have received all my previous orders. altho at a much later date than expected.

tbh, for non-genuine leather skins (slickwraps are the only suppliers of customisable genuine horween leather skins), I would choose dbrand skins over slickwraps. their shipping is maximum 2 weeks for international orders.

    • What a horror story. Used these guys and dbrand previously. dbrand gets my business these days

Their products are good but the shipping and customer service are terrible.

I never received an order, so followed up with them. 10 days later still received no item or updates, so I followed up again and they said "The print file was actually incorrect so the wrap was not printed correctly" and they would send me out a free phone wrap as well as my original order. Then never received the phone wrap.

  • Bought from them twice and both took about 5 weeks to receive.

  • Been looking at this for a while. However, there doesnt seem to be a FAQ (unless i missed something)…. are these just stick on over existing backplates etc?

    • Yes. They are like adhesive tapes except that they leave no residue if and when you decide to take them off. Depending on the kind of material you choose, they give your devices more grip.
I have skins on a few of my devices primarily to keep them from scratches and to spice up their looks.
